Hi guys and gals,

I took kratom for a year during the weekdays for a year. Three 5g doses for 15gpd.

I am about to start taking naltrexone (50mg) as per The Sinclair Method (TSM) for my Alcohol Use Disorder.

I've heard horror stories about precipitated withdrawls from people with a physical dependance on kratom, who didn't wait long enough to start taking naltrexone.

Does anyone know how long it would take for my opioid receptors to be clear of whatever it is that attaches itself to them from kratom?

I'm currently on day four of no kratom and am tentatively expecting to start TSM in the middle of next week.

I don’t really think there’s to much research on the subject that said I would give it atleast 14 days, but receptors take longer than that to get back to normal , but you should be ok maybe even at 8 days but keep in mind I have no experience with nal... only with subs and 14 days I believe it’s the minimum for it

Precipitated withdrawals with Kratom and Naltrexone are no joke. Happened to me LDN, I could only imagine with 50mg!!

How many grams of kratom per day and for how long? Every day?

What was the LDN dose?

How long did you wait to take nal?

Same here. A tiny dose of LDN threw me in to major wd’s. That stuff is wicked strong. Proceed with caution.

So you didn't take Kratom on the weekends? I imagine you have a good idea of what Kratom withdrawals are like then. 15 grams worth of habituation could take a few weeks to fully recover from, but if you got through the weekends fairly OK then you could be one of the luckier user in regards taking a break from use.

Dealing with the aftermath of no longer treating yourself to Kratom can be another story, but you can deal with that by long known conventional means.
