Anyone else experiencing shipping problems?

So on May 7th I placed an order with a trusted vendor. Package hipped within a day and all appeared well. Normally my packages go from vedor>Detroit>Toledo>my home in northwest Ohio. I began to get concerned when this package went from vedor to a distribution center in Indianapolis. I have never had a package go through Indiana. It departed the distribution center in Indianapolis on may 11th. At that point it went into limbo. Several days of in transit to destination and on May 16th it stopped updating all together. It hasn't updated or changed since the 16th. I contacted the vendor and asked him to resend with Express mail as I was about out of kratom at that point. He immediately responded and had my package ready to go the next day. Now this package was priority mail express. I figured with covid having sent this way would minimize any shipping issues. The tracking number was created and it was sent on May 18th. It is now the 21st and the package still shows label created pre shipment. The vendor checked his camera and saw that the package was in fact picked up by usps. I have recieved nothing. I don't really have a clue as to wtf is going on. I recently moved in my with girlfriend and put the packages in her name to make sure there was no confusion on the address. This morning I read Indiana is a banned state. The fact my first package went there is concerning. If anyone has any insight or similar experiences I would appreciate it. The vendor has went above and beyond to help me through this whole situation. I can't keep asking him to send another package. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's because Detroit got hit very hard with Covid19.... They have multiple post offices closed or running extremely short staffed!! So anything going thru or near Detroit will most likely be delayed, in which, they said up to 1 to 2 week delay originally. I don't know if the time frame has changed yet at this point sorry
