Does your doctor know?

Hello. I was just curious as to how many on this forum have had a discussion with their doctors/medical providers about Kratom consumption. How did it go? I’m being referred to a couple of new medical providers and I’m not sure if I want to start off right away giving that info.

Yeah...that’s a delicate line to walk. I have told my doctor but he is very open minded. I am a nurse and know most doctors have never even heard of Kratom. I would say get a feel for this new doctor before opening up about Kratom usage...while some have had good experiences, i would say the majority have not when they told their primary care physician. Do what is in your best interest.

This topic HAS been discussed in detail before.. We (this Forum) is getting a couple years of good info & I suggest Use the Search Bar to find it!

For example I Search on "doctor honest" and find several Threads = search.php?keywords=doctor+honest

I did once - and hate to say it, but have lied about it ever since. Not only did he not know what it was, but googled it, and started completely demonizing it. He also started blaming my ailments on it, while prescribing me everything under the sun to help me with issues that Kratom helps me with.
