Possible Remedy to Wobbles and Sickness
I wanted to answer questions from other posts (couldn't find the original i intended to respond to), regarding the cause and cure of wobbles. As an ultra endurance athlete and one who is accustom to severe, odd food allergies n sensitivities, i consistently read labels and am very aware of food and drug interactions.
There are claims to taking kratom with potentiators such as turmeric, cayenne pepper, and others. In some cases the potentiator is defined as being the result of the herb, food, or drug causing certain enzymes to be inhibited in order to create greater strength in the kratom with smaller doses to save money n whatnot. Normally the enzymes are readily produced by the liver break down substances into simpler, usually safer substance that the body digests and processes and excretes. But, very commonly, a simple bite of food or drink or taking medication can halt the production and release of the enzyme/s needed to break down a particular drug and can cause an overdoes without it having the chance to be broken down into it's safer, smaller constituents.
I hope i made sense of this. It took me a few months to nail it because i would be fine using my usual Maeng Da from same supplier/brand but i found that eating Indian food (which has many herbs n spices including cayenne pepper, turmeric, and others), I got very very ill with wobbles and sometimes throw up. It took a little over 24 hours to clear my body of this.
The slightest unintentional mishap by taking a single bit of the wrong thing, can in fact, set off a very unpleasant reaction due to the way the body is processing the kratom. This goes for many other medications also. For example, grapefruit juice warnings are on labels of many drugs because it inhibits the enzyme that medication relies on to be broken down n processed by the body. There are probably thousands of enzymes produced by the liver/pancreas and knowing how and when they work and exactly which foods and drugs stop their production.
Also good knowing which enzyme/s are required to break down kratom can make for a safe dose or prevent a potentially lethal dose even if the dose and strain or brand are identical to that which one normally takes. Of course there are probably many other variables involved and everyone's body and metabolism differs so I recommend keeping a log of what you put in your body (read ingredients and stay away from foods that have a plethora of ingredients) so as to easily discern reactions and avoid the pitfalls of feeling awful unnecessarily. Maybe a good continuation of this post or start another would be for people to document their reactions when eating certain foods/drugs/herbs. Hopefully knowing this will give kratom users an upper hand in controlling how it effects everyone.

Same here. I’ve tried turmeric which the taste kind of is dominant over the Kratom high and I feel actually colorurs the high in a weird way, black pepper, vinegar, and some other stuff and it all felt like BS to me personally.Happygoverment wrote:I don't know if potenators really work I've tried everything I have read freezing it vinegar pickle juice black and red pepper nothing really has worked i really enjoy kratom and wish there was a way to make it last longer i only been doing kratom for about six months or so and it sure has worked magic for my addiction one that I didn't expect an really didn't notice was my alcoholism i originally tried kratom for opiate addiction then I just noticed on top of that i didn't want to drink when I was taking kratom i was like damn this stuff is awesome i enjoyed the your post and love reading things from people like yourself who knows what they are talking about awesome info appreciate it
Btw, OP said “a lethal dose of Kratom “. Isn’t that impossible?

Yeah. There's no way anyone is overdosing on Kratom. The potency doesn't matter. Maybe 7-hydroxymitragynine has a technical LD50, but in practice it's not possible. Like overdosing on weed. Perhaps if you had a gallon of powerful extract tincture you could get close? I still doubt it. Your body would reject it and you'd be too sick to function. This is all just speculation, if anyone has real information on this it's welcomed.
As far as preventing wobbles, just don't take too much. If you do, wait it out.
