Help deciding order with TFH! :)

This will be my first time ordering from TFH and I was wondering if you’d be Willing to share some insights on some if the strains or batches you’ve had great experiences with. I recently hurt my ankle to the point of damaging/compressing/cutting off the main nerves needed to control and lift the foot, and it comes with a decent amount I’d pain and numbness. Was hoping to grab a couple split kilos in this order. I like Kratom on all parts of the spectrum. Fast, middle, slow, itchy, sleepy; you name it! So far I’ve only been able to accumulate a list of faster whites. All help would be incredibly appreciated

I just went through all of the TFH reviews on here. Everyone says you can't go wrong, though. A fair bit of the strains are going fast, and recommendations might not be there anymore, once you get them. I just don't want you to miss out.

The green Emerald Elephant is a excellent strain. I ended up buying an extra pound of it during their last open sale.

Hi Shaggy. Pain brought me to kratom. Because so many folks recommended "Reds" for pain that's where I started and, since I can't tolerate stimulants, I prefer reds over greens (as they tend to be more stimulating in small amounts <). Reds can be stimulating and/or sedating. I don't find TFH reds to be sedating, but I think that this is very unusual**. If they are too sedating, you can always add some green or white.

Sorry, this was a long preface to say that all of the "reds" I have purchased from TFH have helped my chronic pain. I have not tried the Chocolate Bentuagie, The Royal Red Riau, Red Horn Reserve or Sun-Dried Relaxing Red yet. But all of the other reds have been such a blessing for me. I can't think of one that has failed. I haven't experimented enough with their greens, but I know that many members here love them for pain just as much as the reds, and I hope folks can help you out with their favorites. None of the reds have produced undesirable side effects for me. The Classic Red Maeng Da struck me as faster than the others. The *Premium Red Bali #2 and the 30 Year Wild Red Hangat are two of my special favorites for pain relief. I'm very eager to try the Red Horn Reserve and the Sun Dried Relaxing Red, as sun-dried leaf has a reputation for being a good analgesic.

red muna is mind blowing for pain relief if they add some back to the menu for any reason. i have also tried their white MD which was great as well and i have heard the 30 yr wild red IR3 is a fire slower red too i've been wanting to try it.

You absolutely have to grab some 30yr wild red Hulu a14IR, and some classic white maeng da. White jongkong was very good but it's only in 100g bags. Red raiu and red horn reserve were faster reds. Tradition green Indo was very good as well kind of mid but with a faster mood lift to it. Jade Hulu is similar. But seriously do not miss those first two

They weren't poorly stocked at all actually haha. That's just how hard they got hit and how much bulk buying people have been doing. These events are some people's only bulk buying for the year and then just smaller orders in between..... Which is kinda what I have done a couple times myself.

As well FYI, most of the Red selections left for 250g and up purchase are some of the best reds from TFH IMHO!!! And that is on both sides of the red spectrum, too.

I don't think it was that they were poorly stocked but rather it seems the entire board placed orders on the first day (I placed my order minutes after midnight ). I do understand it sucks not getting the strain you really wanted. What strains did you order that ended up being sold out, if I may ask?

There are still have 8 Red strains available with no size limit on them. And some of these are excellent choices. I have tried all 8 of these remaining reds so if you have any questions about them I'd be more than happy to give a mini review for them Plus this event goes for several more weeks and last event they added new strains towards the end of the event so maybe that will happen this time

Try reading every thread that has TFH in the subject line. In another thread I just recommenced the 30 Year Wild Red IR3. It’s one of the best pain relieving reds I’ve ever taken, hands down. There is no limit on that one.

Well I couldn't get the 30 Year Wild TFH so I got the Wild Red TFH. First time ordering from TFH so I really don't know the difference. I think the "30 Year Old" thing just got in my head and made me want it more. The other red I got was the Classic Red Maeng Da.
For greens I got Jade Hulu and the Traditional Wild Green Indo. I'm sure I'll be more then satisfied with my order if the leaf is as good as I've read. I might order a couple 100g bags yet before this is over.

I think you made GREAT choices and you'll (hopefully) be very happy with those 4 strains. I have had them all.

-- Traditional Wild Green Indo: very nice well rounded strain that I think can be taken anytime of the day. Effects are clean and it has some nice pain relief and provides that calming sense of well being. It is a VERY CONSISTENT strain (for me at least, and It's been a recent go to lately)

-- Jade Hulu: I just got this one and after three doses I LOVE IT! I like it better than the Trad Wild Green Indo. A very smooth clean feeling, long legs, hell of a mood boost, relaxing but not sedating, and good pain relief. It's hard to describe that "clean smooth" feeling that great strains have, and most TFH strains have a "cleaner" feeling already, but the Jade Hulu is excellent!! I think this strain will end up being a favorite. I'm going to try to get more in my next order.

-- Wild Red TFH: one of the strains that has been around on the menu since they started doing these open events. It's been a while since I had this strain but I remember it had amazing pain relief and was more of a nighttime relaxing strain. (The 30 Year Wild that you were unable to get I would say is equal to the Wild Red TFH you ordered- not much difference from what I remember but both are equal in high quality)

-- Classic Red Maeng Da: one of the few strains that didn't work great for me from TFH. My mother LOVES it however, and I know it is pretty highly reviewed and liked. I prefer faster Red MD and this Classic Red Maeng Da was more on the relaxing spectrum for me. Still get great effects like pain relief and long legs. I just prefer a little more energy but all depends on what you what from kratom

I hope you end up liking what you got. I would suggest starting with a slightly lower dose than normal for TFH leaf if its your first time. Also some of their strains took a few doses for me to get a true feeling on how they were and so t took several tests per strain to get used to their leaf when I first tried them out.

But I'd say you have a really good order coming your way Enjoy it!

I'll definitely take your advice and lower my dose as I usually enjoy two 5 gram doses daily. I think I'll start at 3 with the TFH leaf. Thanks again and enjoy what's left of the holiday weekend.

I would go for the sun dried relaxing red and the royal red Riau if it were me!!! I recently sampled the relaxing red and it is absolutely wonderful for blending with just about any type of leaf! And the Royal Red Riau is one of the only fermented strains that I truly enjoy by its lonesome!!!

Sorry, no "30 Year Wild Crafted White." It will either have to be "30 Year" or "Wild and Crafted"
The List of Whites make me dizzy when I read it, and I can't remember any of them (except the ones that are gone )

I agree with MycatTimmy, the CWMD is more mid spec to me. I've only tried about 8 or so TFH white batches and they have all been more mid-spectrum than fast with the exception of two, the Wild White Elephant and the Wild White Sumpur. I felt that those two leaned more fast but not over the top. As always, YMMV.

Huh, strange. I'm extremely strain sensitive though, as well as caffeine sensitive. Maybe certain alkaloids just don't agree with me as much. Would definitely have enjoyed it more if not for that.

I just received it in the mail and I’m looking forward to trying the Wild White Hulu Kapuas. If it’s anything like the Wild Green Hulu Kapuas I’ll have a new fav. I now have both the White and Green. Looks like I’m going to have to get the Red just to keep the family together
