Wondering if I will feel kratom?

Sorry if I posted this is the wrong section, or if this has already been covered. I kicked heroin a month ago. I was doing around 1 gram a day for a 1.5 years. I've been drinking as a replacement, but I really don't enjoy it that's why I'm going to start taking Kratom. My question is, will I be able to feel it, or will I still have residual tolerance from the heroin a month ago? btw I ordered the Red Malay from Kraydo Botanical's because I heard it was pretty euphoric. I have anxiety issues bad, hence my reason for self-medicating. Thank you for any help!

With good quality leaf you should , actually you are starting at the right time because your through with the worst part of wd, your are probably just weak no motivation at all kratom will help with that I can’t tell you if what you have is good but cause of what you’ve been through you’d probably need three grams but you can work yourself up to that start at two if that don’t work go up a little at a time good luck bud hope all goes well for you

It won't be anywhere near as intense as heroin, but you should still feel a moodlifting stimulating feeling, followed by some sedation.(higher doses) Don't expect to nod or have any crazy euphoria like full agonist opioids. I would say after about a month of being clean your tolerance will be much much lower than when you were using, however tolerance always returns with any opioid use. I also have really bad anxiety issues which led to severe abuse of strong prescription painkillers like oxymorphone. I find kratom to be amazing for my anxiety however some strains/veins can make it worse(too stimulating) usually whites for me, greens are my favorite overall. For me nothing has ever help my anxiety/depression anywhere near as well as opioids. However the dependence to full agonist potent opioids becomes a living hell and just isn't worth it. Kratom is much more forgiving and not dangerous.

Appreciate the replies! I use to take Kratom a few years ago, and it did help my mood a lot. I don't know why I slid back into the hell that is heroin. Anyway, after becoming homeless and losing my vehicle I'm back I never want to repeat that again. Thanks again!

Bingo. KEY is accepting that Kratom is good ~ but not nearly as strong as H ~ as you know, heroin can kill you, well you cannot O-D on kratom! That's the good news... However you should figure out, taking more & more kratom does NOT get more effects.. Sorry it don't work like that!! Kratom has a ceiling effect ~ remember that, be satisfied with around < 4 gram servings & maybe 10 gpd ?? Good Luck I hope you stick around!
