Things ive learned to keep fresh

Over time ive learned a few tips to help keep the beautiful effects of Kratom active and fresh. Not only do I suffer from depression and anxiety but I also was in a car accident. Kratom helps these. Here it goes.
Sleep- i’ve noticed that it is extremely important to get my fair share of sleep. This makes a huge difference in keeping the effects active.
Rotate Strains and Vendors as much as you can. I’ve noticed that this has helped me immensely. If I stick with the same “strain” I find it diminishes the beauty of Kratom.
The Brain- The brain is probably the most overlooked aspect of the experience in itself. It is extremely powerful. For instance does anybody notice how their mood is enhanced when they are checking a new menu or ordering from a new vendor. The excitement just from the TFH open event for instance. Never underestimate just how important your brain is , and the way you look at things.(Perception)
Stay hydrated- Drink as much water as possible! This has helped me. Do you notice that when people go to the hospital immediately they are given an IV. It is extremely important to keep your body hydrated so it runs optimally and processes correctly.
Kratom before eating- I notice the effects are diminished dramatically if I have eaten a big meal.

I know many of these are known but this is my personal experience and may help others. TY

Agree with this 100%, people don't realize how much water you really need to drink daily to just keep a good hydration level. Then you add kratom(extremely dry powder) to the mix it can really dehydrate you a ton you really have to add a ton of water to compensate. Kratom can also act as a stimulant a diuretic on top of that as well. We all know people already don't drink enough water then add frequent kratom usage on top of that you can see where this will lead.

too much water causes bloating and gross sweating.

when they say 6 8oz glasses a day, well, 8oz is a small cup.

(not saying being withered and dry is good, lol, but I was shocked at how small 1 cup of coffee is, 8oz when I'm used to a large from a fast food place, that's like 3 cups of coffee in one drink). and it should be water, not coffee, but I'm thinking about my liquid intake in general. Yes, super important to be properly hydrated.

I drink over a gallon of water everyday and never experienced any of those side effects you mention. I do however take a lot of kratom and workout every single day (cardio/weightlifting)

I try to drink a gal of water a day as well, and everything is smooth like butter. Example, when you drink beer and watching late night show as it wears off you start to feel hangover/ headaches? If you drink water it goes away pretty fast. I noticed if i think i over took kratom by accident i try to drink lots of water until my mind tells me, that's enough! Call it magic but so far it has solved many problems in the past. Now i drink only well water or spring. 2 months ago i had no choice and was at friends house, i drank one full glass of water from tap, got sick for a full day....... Then i found out the city over dumps way to much fluoride and maybe other shit that doesn't belong in water. Cant stress enough, GET FRESH WATER!@!! no no tap tap water. If have to go to store and get some spring gal water. Or if have a friend with well water, buy few 5 gal and fill them, difference? I'd say day and night...

.

I have to agree here. It sounds counter-intuitive: "I'm so bloated! what do I do?"

Drink more water. Take it from a woman who suffered PMDD for 30 years (some of you may know what I mean. If you don't but there is a cranky woman in your life, GOOGLE IT). The bloating that accompanies PMDD is aggravated even MORE by the Standard American Diet which contains LOTS of salt. Unless you have dangerous low blood pressure, you don't need it. Salt dehydrates but you can still be 'full of it' (lol, salt/fluids) AND incredibly water bloated. The DIY solution? Yeah, just keep pushing the water. But no added salt. Eat fresh IF you can. You won't decrease bloating by dehydrating yourself. You have to flush it out. Water will also keep your brain perky and keep your bowels moving. Our bodies are mostly water (eeeww). But there it is! Drink that 'Food Baby' away - Gals AND Guys

Keep drinking water until you flush all of the shit out. No, you will not over-hydrate your brain (as some 'influencers' suggest). The water won't kill you :D

Too much water definitely can kill you! It's super hard and not really that big of a concern, but good to know it's a possibility. I always remember that 'Hold Your Wee for a Wii', a radio contest where where contestants had to drink a lot of water and see how long they could hold it to win a Nintendo Wii. One of the contestants died

However, I do drink a lot of water and believe the 6 8oz glasses is too little if you are active and/or take kratom. Agreed IndelibleDotInk that it's really not that much water.

recommended daily liquid intake varies between 2.7L for women and 3.7L for men. drinking six 8oz glasses of water is nowhere near enough water a day even a minimum. a large potion of this country is constantly dehydrated. soda dehydrates further as does beer. juice is just sugar water. for people that live under the six 8oz rule, drinking an actuallt recommended amount of water will feel like wayyy too much.

and also, the bloating comes in large part due to carbohydrate and glucose cells absorbing so much water and requiring it to be processed. There are a few keto members on this forum that can attest that the removal of carbs and sugars will immediately leave you the opposite of bloated. Your food babies and bloats are from your (probably) 'normal' american carb and sugar consumption. take a look at what youre eating before thinking water is difficult.

as for salts/sodium.....it is a necessary electrolyte your body uses to replenish itself. sodium is a massively important part of ones diet. i put lite salt (w potassium) in my water!!!! because electrolytes!! obviously this comes more necessary upon the removal of sugars and carbs, but i really think that having a full breadth of knowledge is helpful to not espouse potentially wrong info. salts are definitely necessary for a healthy person.

I also drink a lot of water everyday atleast 6 to 7 16oz bottles minimum and even wake up thirsty so I keep a bottle or two next to the bed. I find that when I am somewhat hydrated my effects are better maybe bc I simply feel better. Working out really really helps kratom effects. When I have a grueling kickboxing workout I typically have much better burns that night and next day

Good points. As you know I've been on a campaign to get people to Drink your Kratom! :P with Red Bubble Tea.. and hopefully, as kratom use grows and gets more mainstream, we'll see more drink recipe's.. & more Kratom Bars opening in cities across the USA, serving fancy drinks.. and the ol' toss N wash may some day be looked upon as silly. old idea that kratom is a horrible thing that tastes bad.. I love the taste when properly brewed as Tea, or and or mixed with flavoring & served as cold drink.

I'm one of those people who used to get dehydrated daily, due to drinking coffee rather than water.. not a big soda drinker but as U point out, soda is dehydrating too... Now, I have many sparkling waters as a chaser along with my kratom, and sometimes a kombucha .. still enjoy caffeine but now, rather than 5 cups of coffee, do more caffeinated Teas along with kratom. The combo's are endless. Bottom line, make a kratom drink around 12 oz & chase that with another 12 oz Tea or water.

Exercise definitely helps Corde, If willing or able. You know you are in a whole new world with Kratom when we start talking hydration, exercise, diet, and overall health with Kratom being part of it. Namaste

Yeah I've tried this empirically with poor results..no one can convince me anything but an empty stomach is the best for taking kratom. Any food whatsoever inhibits it.

Other than that, since I like to stay fresh, I liberally apply Axe body spray all over, so I can get that unmistakable 'just came out of an 8th grade boys locker room' scent that makes all ladies wet.

While I believe that was a spam post (that was oddly on-topic...), I agree that empty stomach is best but a healthy diet more generally helps with kratom effects.

Very good advice on Axe!

I used to think that but lately a very small snack with healthy fat has really been enhancing my burns both in potency and length I've also notice probiotics taken before really help as well.

I definitely agree. What timing do you do? I usually do 30 mins after dosing with good results.

Anywhere from 30 mins - 1 hour after dosing I've also taken it 10 - 15min before dosing with some good results however its more unpredictable like that.

I've noticed my burns last longer when I consume a bit of fat and protein after I drink my dose (like a small chunk of steak).

I can agree with this. Depending on the situation, I will quickly eat a table spoon of creamy peanut butter just after effects start to kick in. It seems to keep me from craving sweets also which hits hard after a kratom serving.

I also drink at least 80oz of plain ole water a day if not more. I enjoy either 1x 12oz Diet Coke or half of a Vivarin in the morning after I drink 24 ounces of water immediately upon waking up.

Ditto, i drink about this much as well. I think he's talking about extremes as far as water consumption, which this isnt... i would consider a gallon optimal, and 6x 8oz glasses to be the minimum you should drink. I know if i consumed only 48oz a day my back/neck cramps would happen twice as often and twice as easily. Water consumption is one of the most overlooked aspects of health... i can't tell you how often i shudder in disbelief as i see a coworker crack open 3 coke zero's a day, while i haven't seen them drink a drop of water :o

I drink water tot he point when my body tells me its enough. and you will know. i mean dont over due it but you can a little especially if you know next 3 hours will be work until next break time, i mean you might go bathroom here and there but with water, you feel soooooo much better, i cant even stress how much important it is. I mean avoid tap water, a gal of tap water you are asking serious health issues and might blame kratom. I tried it once at friends house when all they had was tap water and i was thirsy, for a whole week i felt like shit. then after they tell me stories what been dumped into water pipes. Never again i will make a mistake, i try to carry a bottle of well water with me where ever i go at all times, and i just recently 100% stopped all water and sodas at restaurants. Most restaurants water smells and taste horrible no matter how much filters they use or if they use? Your life is way more important then getting odd random side effects from water. BUT if you do get water, ALWAYS ask for LEMON with it, that what i did, its known to kill 150 viruses and much more that is unknown to human. Its ok to drink a little bit extra of water, some times i think i drank way to much and had zero issues, you just go pee more often so to die from water is a joke. i mean unless you are full blown retard i can see that happening but thats like 0.00001 percent of that happening.

Is well water safe? I would be worried about contaminants in the soil... and where do you get well water, I have never seen it for sale. Hawaii's tap water is purified by our aquifers, the natural layers of volcanic rock. Super fresh, comes outta the tap. I couldn't believe on the mainland the tap water had so much chlorine in it, the taste is horrible, it takes a week to get used to it.

I heard of a case where a girl, leah betts?, died from drinking so much water at a rave. She was on drugs and drank tons of water and got brain swelling. That's not a normal case, though, regular people not on drugs would have a hard time drinking enough water to get ill.
