Is it just me or is kratom more potent when you have a good amount of sleep? The nights that I get only 4-5 hours of sleep, it just doesn't seem to work. Is this universal?

That is definitely true for me. It's one of the things that I really like about Kratom. The better I take care of myself (sleep, hydration, exercise, etc), the better it works. I don't think I've ever thought of any kind of "substance" in the past from that perspective; like a lot of other aspects about the way kratom works, it's kinda self-regulating.

Sleep is when your brain really recovers and tries to reach homeostasis, when you sleep the opioid agonists are stripped off the receptor. It's why when you're physically dependent on opioids you wake up in withdrawal every morning and also is why your tolerance is seemingly lower in the morning after good sleep.

Being well rested and well hydrated AND waiting a minimum of 6 hours between servings 100% definitely improves the effects.
Mood is also highly important. When you’re feeling good, it’ll make you feel great.
And I find that exercise also makes it work better. Take it after a workout or a jog and it’ll give you a boost to the already powerful mood lift that exercise naturally provides.

Exercise 100% boost the effect, its proven it does that on its own. even 1 block jug, maybe 20 pushups and + kratom its like heaven. If lazy then it wont be as fire potent. Exercise! I am going to try increase mine when i can. I noticed each time after pee bathroom at home, auto 20 pushups. I remember i did this before every bathroom break and i felt super duper good. If older and cant do pushups, stretches are another option. Or even walk around the block dont need to run.

Anyone here take kratom as a preworkout? I find it works great with a little bit of caffeine for both cardio or weightlifting amazing workouts. I noticed I sweat way more when I do this though so you have to really stay hydrated.
