Hey everyone I’m trying to find a good vendor for crushed kratom leaves. I’m trying to make extract from it, I’ve got an experiment to try

TFH and Liza and I just got a sample of SacredSon s green crushed that was pretty good to.

Absolutely loved TFH’s GMD CL. Haven’t gotten much from their Sapphire Red CL yet.

Why would you prefer crushed leaf compared to milled powder for extract?

For me, it is much easier to make actual tea from crushed leaf VS powder. Filters get clogged and it can make it difficult to get plant matter out of the tea after extraction. I use an Aeropress to make my tea. Consequently, some of the finer ground powders just clog up the filter and prevent me from squeezing out all of those alkaloids. I'll typically end up breaching the rubber stopper before getting any of the actual tea fluid past the powder at the bottom of the press.

Oh I thought you meant an actual extraction and isolation of alkaloids not just making tea. I see, that makes more sense now.

You can let the tea drip completely instead of pressing it until the very last bit of liquid is still in the aeropress. It takes awhile but it works, you stir it every so often. Thanks to Fused Flora for this method.
