looking into starting a kratom business

now that the NIDA came out and said kratom is safe, i'm less hesitant to dive in. what would you like to see from a new vendor? i'm open to anything from extracts to lab testing to novel formulations with other herbal products (and so on).

In no particular order because they are all equally important, quality, price, customer service and easy payment method which we don't allow discussions of in the forums to protect the vendors from bad actors.

Maybe some idea of "where" you'll find customers?

Yes kratom has grown in popularity, however there's been a BOOM in # of "vendors".. consider the following:

• There are over 300 online vendors already in business. It's really exploded over the past 6 months
• There is no more Reddit.. and Facebook is crowded with "Friends" selling kratom now. FB is also banning vendors.
• Everybody's Selling.. that is the new reality. Have you checked out MeWe Swap Sell? Everyone is now a Stash Seller.
• Indo Suppliers are now... selling Direct. apart from big Wholesalers.. over past 6 months dozens of new Indo websites.

All good points. I have two headshops I know for certain will sell my product (they both sell a lot of kratom as well which is how it came up!). I have a good amount of /close/ friends that use kratom daily, and even more that use kratom somewhat frequently. Not that I could run a business off of my friends' kratom use alone but what I mean is, kratom's blowing up in Colorado. I also do not plan to make much money from this at all, it's much more a hobby thing. I have a seperate nutraceutical business that has a very promising future (we're working with a lab actively using crispr to fuck shit up in hemp plants, among other things). I'm honestly hoping to use any potential kratom side hustle as an educational endeavor so I present some neat stuff to the lab. They get just as giddy about mad sciencing as I do!

As for online vending, I think community presence is absolutely crucial. For example, if you started selling kratom (if you don't already) I guarantee everyone on this forum would be all over you.

I don't plan on going near this project if I don't find unique strains or something that can set my product/business apart. Like you said, everyone's selling. I just /think/ with my background and connections with labs and stuff I might be able to come up with something that no one else has. Not sure what. Which is why I come for advices!

I appreciate your reply btw those were all really good points I need to ponder for another few days. I'll have more info from one especially interesting wholesaler tonight and I think I'll have more to work with after that.
