Anyone else tried TFH Wild White Maeng Da 2: A1-19?
So I have been taking TFH’s Wild White Maeng Da 2: A1-19 for almost a week now and for some reason it just doesn’t seem to do much, unless I take a lot more than my usual dose.
I also have 30 Year Wild Green TFH and Deep Jungle White Bali which are both fantastic quality as usual.
I don’t see any other feedback on that specific batch. I’m just wondering if it’s just me or not.

The WWMD2 is in my top10 list of best morning batches before work currently. Great mood, very good energy and focus. I did note to take a 15% higher serving size than my average serving but about 50% of the batches i own require some deviation from what i consider to be my "average" serving.Vorter wrote:So I have been taking TFH’s Wild White Maeng Da 2: A1-19 for almost a week now and for some reason it just doesn’t seem to do much, unless I take a lot more than my usual dose.

I also like the 30 Yr Wild Green TFH and Deep Jungle Ball but I consider them more mid to upper-mid on the "slow to fast" spectrum. Both are closer to mid spec for me focused on mood with some relaxation at higher servings. The WWMD2 is what I consider a "fast" batch in my experience. It provides a good kick of energy and stimulation while leveling off to better focus and concentration during the day. All of them provide me with a good mood lift.
Personally, I prefer the WWMD2 over the 30yr Wild Green TFH and Deep Jungle Bali in the mornings. Just depends on what you are looking for out of the leaf. All three batches are great in my opinion. Just in different ways for me. Also, It can be difficult to find a good fast batch in my experience so i do enjoy them when I find them. I also enjoy a good relaxing batch (more common in my experience). Just depends on what I'm seeking at the time.
Just a suggestion...the sweet spot may be at a lower serving size if you haven't tried that yet. Maybe its just a tolerance thing. It happens with me on occasion as well and can vary per batch.
If you continue to experience a "miss" with it, try putting it away for a few weeks and then try it again. Its amazing how some batches come to life when other biological and emotional variables within our own bodies have shifted after a few weeks. Best of luck!

I've tried it twice alone and liked it. Not the fastest TFH white I've ever had (that would probably be White Horn), but smooth, energetic, pretty long legs for a white, and hit me well both times (at around 1.8g). I also recently mixed it with some Rhino Red and it made for a really zippy "pink" blend. After reading guitar's post, I'd like to try it at a slightly higher dose, I have a feeling there's more in there for me.

Thanks for the input. I’m thinking tolerance is a big factor. I tried a smaller starting dose and it seemed to work about the same as a larger dose, but I could distribute more smaller doses every few hours and it seemed to work a bit better with a good duration. TFH onset tends to take a bit longer for me as well. It’s definitely on the faster end, but I still haven’t ever tried a strain that is “fast enough” for me (and probably never will tbh).guitartodd77 wrote:The WWMD2 is in my top10 list of best morning batches before work currently.
