Does anybody know who sells yellows that aren’t white/green blends and golds that aren’t Green/red blends besides TFH?

AFAIK, none are blends, but ask Shaun. www.fusedflora.com Gold MD and Yellow Kapuas were standouts.

Chris at LSMS has some awesome yellows and golds!

Good to know! I still need to try them. Do you know if they’re blends or not?

I feel the similarity of effect between yellow and gold, is it possible that it is from the same type of kratom?

Nope, I don’t believe they are

Huh! Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that at this point, it's become pretty established that all kratom are blends....there are no "red" or "green" strains; it's all about the processing and blending, right?

Have you looked over “Behind the Scenes” yet? It’s kind of the Kratom Bible. Yes, you could simplify it down to reds and greens (whether they’re dried outside or inside), whites can often be a blend of those two with some S&V, yellows be a blend of green and white (so mostly green with a little red and some S&V) and golds being a red/green blend. Then more sunlight for bents, browns, chocolate strains. BUT there ARE ways of drying to acquire TRUE whites, yellows, and golds. Chris of TFH brushes over it in that article I mentioned and I’m pretty sure THOSE are the yellows he gets (the only yellows that have ever worked for me) so I was thinking of trying others who get theirs this way in hopes of finding more Yellow that hit me right.

LoneStar MitraSource specifically does this with their True Yellow. It is off the menu at the moment but there are others on the menu that are of similar sourcing and care. He is very personable. I believe he gets his leaf and then decides on a drying process and implements it in his own drying room. Any questions are responded to in detail with personal pictures sometimes.

It looks like there is only one yellow at the moment. His golds are also cured by him.

Thanks. I've read Chris' piece but may have forgotten how he addressed the issue of yellows and golds; I'll check it out again. I do know that I've loved a couple of TFH Yellows...........
