Bulk Kratom Now, yea or nay?

I think your initial review was what sparked my curiousity about BKN. Did you get samples first, or order blind?

I tried “Bull Kratom Now” several months ago. Personally, I found it to be of very low quality. I got the 5 strain sampler, 500 grams in total, for I believe $50 delivered. The White Thai and White MD didn’t hit for me at any dose from 2 grams to 6 grams. At 8 grams I felt it slightly but was also not feeling well, because it’s twice my normal 4 gram dose. It didn’t sit well in my stomach. Ugh! I also had requested Green Kapuas for my third choice, but they sent Green Ketapang instead. That strain didn’t hit for me either unless I took twice my normal dose. I ended up throwing it all together in a container and made an extract from it with white vinegar, then I dehydrated it completely to a powder in the oven on a silicone baking mat. I figured it would be better to use it in smaller amounts as a concentrated extract powder instead of choking down a bunch of inferior powder just to get some minor effects. I still have a 100g bag of Red Elephant and 100g bag of Red Bali that I’ll be trying soon. I’ve seen several reviews that their Reds are their best strains. We will see. I don’t like to bash any vendor unless it’s very much deserved. Vendors are entitled to an occasional lame batch from time to time and I don’t hold it against them. But I’m batting 0 for 3 so far and I’m thinking these other 2 strains will be just as underwhelming. Fancy looking white bags though. I hope my reply doesn’t offend anyone. I’m just trying to be honest is all.

that sucks brother, hope those 2 at least do something for ya even tho the reviews for red Elephant and red Bali were from last years dry season... sorry to hear they went downhill, they probably move a lotta leaf..

It’s possible I got some rainy season leaf. My order arrived about 5 months ago but there’s no markings on the bags to suggest a batch number. Hopefully, these red strains are better. I’ll try them this weekend and report back.

Not being a kratom snob at all. I seriously balked as well when I first saw their name. It sounds like some bargain basement kratom outfit that’s importing tons of the same powder with no real ability to ensure quality. It all smelled and looked the same too. At least their name isn’t Krazy Eddie’s Deep Discount Kratom Kave. With some guy on the front of the bag wearing a loud 1970s leisure suit, looking like a shady used car salesman and yelling: “We will beat any price or your kratom is FREE FREE FREE”.

History: several shady vendors with name "Bulk", google: BKB bulk kratom = All these companies, Bulk Kratom Botanicals/ Bulk Kratom USA/ Buy Bulk Kratom/ etc etc... have bad reviews & long history of bullshit. Some are totally separate, but others are connected in some way... One was banned from r/kratom Reddit, back 4 years ago when Reddit was legit.

Who needs MORE than TEN vendors ?? There's easily TEN good, proven, long-term, well established, trusted vendors around here.

100% Agree! The only vendors I use are actually on your vendor list. I found your list long after trying close to 100 vendors in the last 5+ years and wasting a lot of money. I could easily name 20-30 good vendors. But I tend to stick with my top 5-10. I admit I’ll occasionally fall for the hype and try a new vendor, but usually end up very disappointed and underwhelmed. Good vendors don’t need to put much effort or money into advertising, marketing or a fancy website. I generally rate kratom as Bunk, Average and Good. If the kratom is good, it sells itself. I’m not fond of the word FIRE when describing kratom. It’s either Bunk, Average or Good. But I do remember years ago all of the Good kratom that could be had. The Glory Days I guess you could say. I’d probably reserve a “Very Good” category for some of that older legacy kratom that was far better than 90% of the kratom available today. SOSA for example. I remember getting 5-10 bags from him and every one of them was different and they were all good. It seems like with many vendors today if you get 1 good bag out of 5 you’re lucky. That’s why I stick with my top vendors. Rarely disappointed with vendors like Rhino, Lucky, TFH, etc. I don’t think I ever got a batch from them that I didn’t like.
