The crooks at the FDA are behind this. They're bound & determined to villify kratom in the entire world. I suspect there's some behind the scenes money transfers from Pharma to the FDA honchos. Kratom users in America were very effective at showing Congress how corrupt the FDA is, how their "proof that kratom is dangerous" is an empty & twisted claim that contradicts the real data. So having lost embarrassingly in Congress, they're trying to go over everyone's heads & have the corrupt UN officials do their dirty work. The truth is on our side - remember that.

Quoted from another thread about this issue: "[...] findings at this stage should not determine whether the control status of a substance should be changed." So I wouldn't be afraid just yet.

It's always good to let your representatives, the FDA, etc know how you feel about kratom, though.
