I bought some food grade silicone molds and a double boiler melting pot a few weeks ago, but I kept forgetting to get melting chocolate at the grocery store. I did finally remember, and today I mixed 50 grams of Lucky Herbals Green Maeng Da with 20 ounces of Ghirardelli milk chocolate and poured most of two full molds.

After a short rest in the fridge, I popped my "ice cubes" out into a resealable container, and I weighed the resulting candies. They weigh right at 10 per ounce, which means they've got about 250 mg of kratom in each one of them. Not bad for my first attempt, I think.

The chocolates taste more like dark chocolate than milk chocolate now, and the kratom taste isn't fully masked, but they are still chocolate and so they're more palatable than a toss and wash! They're not unlike marijuana chocolates.

The only issue is that I made too many, really. It's not ideal to eat these all the time because of the sugar and calories, I'm sure. Maybe trades?

Gotta ramp up the grammage, even our small dosers here would need 4, 5, or 6 chocolates.

Great that you made them, wish I had some nice silicone molds and some keto chocolate to melt. Sounds so noms.

I actually started with 2x the dosage (so half of the chocolate), but the mixture was too thick to pour. I added more chocolate little by little, but it wound up needing the whole second 10oz bag.

My dosage is about 3 grams currently. I can sub some of these in when I take powder or eat only the chocolates. That's 14 small pieces per dose, which is more chocolate than I'd normally eat in one go, but also not a huge amount. The candies are 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm each.
