Went out of town and forgot my kratom, got some at headshop,and wow.

I went out of town for several days and left my bag with my kratom at home, so I searched google and a lot of headshops popped up(chicago legal weed). I paid a ton for it, like 30-35 bucks for 60 grams or so. I would have to say it blew me away, it was one of the best powders I've ever had,prob the best. Anyone else have that type of experience with "store" bought kratom? I took my first dose and wasnt long before I was relaxed but mind was sharp, Had energy but not the jitters, and just a pleasant time overall. It's the first time I have ever gotten stuff from shop as I have always got from DoubleM vendors only. First when it was from the amazing subreddit(RIP) with amazing deals and reviews and then this site when subreddit was nuked.
Have any of you had experiences like that from store bought? I was just wondering if it was just a one off, or with the expansion of kratom have the Corp's hoarded the best leaf for a crazy high price? I'm not saying the vendor's here are not good by any means,they are great. Im just saying the stuff I bought from shop was just awesome.

My theory is they aren’t kratom. I’m military (well ex) so we know all the drugs that won’t make u fail a test. There was “baby Hawaiian rose wood” that felt exactly like acid, “spice” like weed, “bath salts” like e/meth. Basically china etc make synthetic chemicals that feel like something and infuse it in something. Those bath salts aren’t batch salts, the Hawaiian rose wood doesn’t make you trip, but certain smoke shops sell ones that do. Yes, I’ve had suuuper strong kratom from a gas station before, I think it’s that. Or it’s just extract, the price more than allows that

Also the feeling of finding your kratom when you left it out town probably was enough in itself to cause endorphins and feel good releases in your brain. Plus your out of town are you on vacation ? i bet the kratom is good but the other factors pop into my mind.

Was going to 5k at the zoo. Its only couple hours from my house, so no vacation really. I had some kratom before we left so when I got it wasnt really time to take more for awhile, but maybe that had something to do with it. As far as it not being kratom, that also could be, but it tasted and mixed the same as my normal stuff. I dont know if they can spray extract like they used to do with like K2 or whatnot, but the feeling was the same as with my normal stuff, just more. The price they charge they def can do stuff to it that would be above my paygrade of knowledge. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experience with store bought. I'll be back for another 5k in weekish or so and I'll pick it up again just to see if it was just relief of not being without,etc.
