Agmatine Sulfate?
Was curious if anyone has used agmatine sulfate to reduce tolerance and if so what brand and dose? I'm new too it and want to know before I start. Any other supplements and advice would greatly be appreciated!

i've experimented with it, not enough to develop an idea of how to best use it. everyone will say pain relief will be extended at the cost of the happy feelings.

I use it every day. It definitely reduces my need for large amounts and makes it work. The key is - don't take it WITH your Kratom. Most folks take it right before they go to bed. I take it at noon (which, on the days I use Kratom, is right in-between my doses). I take two capsules, as recommended on the bottle (sorry, not near the bottle right now so I don't know the dose). But it definitely does work.

1 gram of it (2 capsules) is what I've done in the past. Brand shouldn't matter much, I don't think. I got whatever was reasonable on Amazon.
I think it's best to use it to lower your tolerance rather than using it to increase effects because as IndelibleDotInk said, it can block the anti-anxiety and anti-depressive effects. I find that happens when I've used it for more than a couple of days in a row.
So what I like to do is take half of my normal dose of kratom with 1 gram of agmatine sulfate. I use kratom to treat some chronic health issues I have, pain being the worst one. Dosing with agmatine keeps the pain in check, but I do miss the mood boosts - and indeed as I've recently found out with chronic pain those mood boosts feel so nice because your brain starts feeling pain in the emotional center after it's been present for many months. You are still feeling the same pain, but your brain has shifted to a different part for processing. Kratom is such a nice pain reliever for me because it treats mood as well as inflammation. Other prescribed meds did not work for me, so I assumed that antidepressants aren't what I need to feel well. In fact, I just needed to find an antidepressant that did work. Fortunately kratom was it.
Many people say that it can take a long time to get the mood-boosting effects back after using agmatine for an extended time, so that's why I only recommend using it in the short term to lower tolerance rather than as a way to enhance your normal dose. I'd pair it with some black seed oil which should help up-regulate the number of nerve receptors you have. Your brain starts turning some of those off once it's accustomed to having a chemical in your system on the regular, causing people to need a bigger dose to keep the same effects. BSO also works really, really well for me as an anti-inflammatory. I take it when a kratom dose hasn't worked out as well as I need rather than taking more kratom.

I read it's a derivative of the amino acid arginine and if you have shingles or herpes it can increase your susceptibility to have outbreaks.

I'm actually wanting to take it to taper off of kratom completely. For the longest time I took 3 doses of kratom per day at 8-8.5 grams per dose. Here recently i am up to 30 grams per day and am having trouble going down at all. 30 grams per day is alot and I don't like it. I have other reasons on why I want to quit but nothing that has effected me negatively. I am still a full advocate for kratom. It's an amazing plant that should always be available to whoever needs it. But yeah im worried about withdrawals and stuff and I really wanna cut down atleast .25 grams every two days without any symptoms. I need something to help me. That's why I ask. I also want to find other supplements that can help. Magnesium glycinate has done wonders for me and I take l theanine every night as well along with numerous vitamins and minerals. Any advice is greatly appreciated

I want to know the right way of taking it without causing any issues. Should I take once a day at night or afternoon, or should I take it with my doses. I see both so im confused. Re: Agmatine Sulfate?
I've played around with a few different powders (all from Amazon) and have tried taking it with kratom, before kratom, after kratom etc. etc. Never seem to get any benefit from it apart from sometimes less effect. Maybe just me?
Seems like the most consistent suggestions I've seen is to take it regularly, same time every day for at least 5+ days. That also never seemed to change anything for me.
Sorry... I'm not helpful

An additional benefit of it is that it increases nitric oxide and growth hormone. Great pre workout (more pump, sustained endurance) but also works if you take it at night.

Re: Agmatine Sulfate?
I use Bulk Supplements powder. Huh, price just dropped if using Amazon's Subscribe and Save, now $28.02 a half key (500 grams) with that discount.
I take around 750 milligrams, two days on, one day off. I eyeball the amount though I "calibrate" myself every so often to make sure I stay in the ballpark. I used to inadvertently take more before I started double checking what I was taking out of the bag.
I also use their Ginger Extract, around two grams every day. It has several benefits.
Ashwagandha is also good, and I was using it, but lately I've been drawing a line on how many supplements I'll take. Lol, it's a daunting amount!

Re: Agmatine Sulfate?
I did not like it. It would make the immediate effects of the kratom a little stronger, but equally raised tolerance. When I stopped using it, the kratom was very weak. The reason I got into it was because I thought it would lower my tolerance and allow me to have more effects. Well, it's basically like just taking extra kratom and raises tolerance respectively. I also tried using it during my off-time, to see if it would lower tolerance for later - nope.
