Which of these crushed leaf vendors would you try?
So I've tried Oties and Herbal-RVA's crushed leaf. They are OK I guess. Oties old batch from months ago was great though.
Still, the best crushed leaf I ever had was Canopy's Remahan Maeng Da (which hasn't been available in forever).
Only interested in Greens. So I found three new choices of vendors. Are any of these any good? And which would you try?
https://zenlifenaturals.com/product/gre ... af-kratom/
https://allnaturalartisan.com/product/g ... ed-leaves/
https://www.krabot.com/products/green-m ... oose-leaf/
I believe those are the only reasonable crushed vendors at the moment.

I've tried Krabot awhile ago, it was pretty dry, and I saw All Natural Artisan's site says theirs is fresh, was tempted to try some when I placed a recent order although I'm not crazy about tea. I'd go with them though, never tried Zen.

By dry, you mean low grade? Cause leaf doesn't seem to degrade over time.
I was leaning toward the artisan, but the 1.22% is not that impressive, but who knows, it might still be good. Also, it's Hulu which is what RVA is offering and I'm thinking it might be the same thing.
I'm going to post a comparison photo later where people can see the quality difference.

By dry it was kind of brown and old looking but I got red, gold, white and green, the colors varied and it made decent tea but I haven't tried many places.

Out of the three you linked, my opinion of All Natural Artisan is very, very high. I have no idea about the crushed leaf though. I know I have seen offerings for crushed leaf on TFH...
I bought Otie's Red Vein crushed leaf a few months ago for my Dad. I haven't sent it yet, since he's a newbie and I know NOTHING about kratom crushed leaf. I was actually going to post something with questions or instructions anyone can offer.
This is a world I'm unfamiliar with, but someone has to chime in here.

Yes. Artisan's my pick too - the Krabot has admitted he's no longer importing - Krabot sells Bulk Leaf now. and over priced "gimmicks" like flavored kratom. Forget them. The one other I'd never heard of. I recently got some Crushed from Philly at YLYL - it's not super green but is a dark greenish shade.WhiteAngelica wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 6:55 pm Out of the three you linked, my opinion of All Natural Artisan is very, very high.
With Artisan, there's SO much to like - good grief. You're paying for shipping ? Might as well order "The Drop" Full spectrum Tincture... brew up some Crushed Tea, chill in fridge, add some lemon & then SPIKE that Tea with just a few drops of his black tincture.... Next Level, for sure.

I use an aeropress for tea all the time. I love that thing. It was inexpensive and has lasted me 3 years of daily use. It "works" with the powder, but still isn't as ideal as leaf. If you make powder with it, it has to be within a certain range of grams otherwise it will squirt all the sludge around the filter and into the cup. You can get a third party metal mesh filter for it and that works fantastically for leaf. You just pour it in and don't even have to press it unless you want to squeeze every last drop.WhiteAngelica wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 6:55 pm I bought Otie's Red Vein crushed leaf a few months ago for my Dad. But yeah, so just boil the tea for 30 minutes and then pour through the aeropress with metal filter. Pretty easy. Don't add anything to it. Some people say to add lemon, but it does nothing and not to mention the alkaloids are sensitive to high acidity. Add any honey, lemon, or cinnamon AFTER filtering. Another misconception is that boiling hard for a while will ruin it - it does NOT (unless it's about 6 hours of boiling). You should know that boiling temperature is the same whether it's a hard or soft boil. It's not any hotter. So I tend to boil moderately hard - like medium heat, cause it keeps the leaf material mixing around and stuff and it doesn't sit on the bottom and overcook. It will make your house very humid and leaf smelly though. If you have the option, doing it in the garage on a hotplate might be better. Almost forgot, remember to add more water than necessary cause it will boil off about half of it. I'm still looking for some kind of pressure cooker/reflux type thing so this doesn't happen.
EDIT: To give a little extra info on the time... Boiling less than 30 minutes makes much weaker tea. 15 mins seemed less than half as strong, but above 30 mins and there is diminishing returns. 45 mins may be a little stronger than 30, but with 1 hour, it was no different than 45 mins.
I had no luck finding any of those. I assume TFH is "Texas Family Harvest". Their website just says to enter a password and I don't have one. Are they members only now? Looked at Liza's Botanicals and they don't have any. Philly didn't have any last time I checked as well as Lucky's. All of them seem to be a no-go.GrannyJ62 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 8:43 pm Just made a pot of TFH green MD crushed leaf tea and it's Awesome I think I got this last year I really like that they had green and red but haven't seen it on the menu lately.I ve also got some from Liza that s really good but it's labeled crushed leaf no color.Your Leaf Your Life Philly Kratom has some as does Lucky s Herbal all are really good reliable vendors with quality leaf every time I've ordered I love rotatating every thing so that includes for me crushed leaf.I haven't tried Artesian they are definitely on my list lol from ballz list.I mix my leaf with Apple cider vinegar instead of lemon or lime it's much easier on my stomach for some reason. So I think the Artisan is the only one worth trying.
Thanks guys. I'm still going to post a comparison photo once my phone is done charging. It's interesting to see the difference between what I have already. I may have found the Indonesian vendor of the Remahan I like so much, I'll let you guys know if he responds (it's been since 2019 since his page was updated). God I love the old Remahan, but I only have like two doses left

Philly does have red crushed leaf, see this link:

He also has blends with chamomile and other herbs/botanicals, I recently got a sample pack of the blends but haven't tried them yet.

I don't use reds, but I'll keep an eye on him cause it looks like he may stock green occasionally. That red leaf actually looks more green than other vendors greensLokey wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 8:21 am Philly does have red crushed leaf, see this link:

Thanks for the info.
Has anyone tried Wonderland Gardens crushed leaf? I might make an order of extract and I just noticed that they have crushed leaf.
