Looking for innovative on the go methods...

Hey all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has had any experience with on-the-go products. What i mean by that are ways to consume when you are not in the comfort of your home.

Capsules seem to not work at all on me and I can't comprehend why. If anyone has any tips for capsules being more effective i'm all ears. I really want them to.

I know All Natural Artisan has their Kracoco Kratom bar, would love to know if anyone has had experience with that specifically.

I have a bag of 'teablets' it was something created by Sacred Son Tea who unfortunately is no longer around. He was a great vendor. They are basically hard pressed tablets of leaf without any type of capsule, I remember trying them once or twice without much effect but i'm going to try them again.

Anyways, you get the idea, does anyone have any crafty on-the-go tips (oblates are too delicate IMO) or know any products that are innovative and good for burning while out and about? i've seen those honey sticks but they seem like bulllllllshit

When you say "capsules don't work for me" what capsules are you talking about? Ones you make yourself from known powders that work?

Buying capsules from makers is a shot in the dark - you don't know what strain they are using and my gut tells me that in most cases they are using whatever leftover crap they have. If you make your OWN capsules from powder you KNOW works for you there's no reason it wouldn't work the same way. It does take longer (typically from 50-75 minutes but this can vary) but otherwise the powder is getting digested in your stomach exactly the same way.

The ONE caveat I would say about capsules is that your stomach DOES need to be empty - I'm not so sure about powder, but I know if I've eaten within two or three hours the capsules won't have much effect. But on an empty stomach my capsules work EXACTLY the same way the powder does on me (except for the time factor).

I see blate papes on websites as a method but have zero experience, guessing its some kind of digestible paper like vehicle.

I carry oblate pouches in mini Tupperware. I've had the Kracoco bar, it's good but only about 28g of mit extract per quarter and pricey. I've had the honey stix and salt water taffy and gummies, they're all extract and very mild, just not the same, more like something to add to a normal dose. They also have flavored drink mixes or you could make tea or try making jumbo size capsules with good powder.

capsules ya gatta open them and pour powder into mouf. digesting the capsule takes too long for an effect for some people. some poke holes in em with a pin... might work.

Here's what I would do (and I may have to soon due to travel unless I quit for a bit).
I'd use Overseas Organix extracts and just manually put them in empty capsules. I think their 40% or 50% extract would be a better choice than the 70% (even if you can afford it) cause I've found that the super high mitra extracts are VERY stimulating and for a long time. I had trouble falling asleep 6 hours later (which NEVER happens with leaf).
They say to use 0.1g (or 100mg), but I'd probably go with 50mg per cap. I had a 45% extract from another vendor and 50mg was plenty.

Oh yeah. You'll need a mg scale to do it. I have a gemini (not sure if that is still available).

I've seen some crystal extract around, you can read some reviews on okies site. I have no experience with it but the logic with any extract is it's however many times stronger so you would need to have less with you and depending on the form it could be easier to manage than powder.

Yup I made myself and know the leaf I am using. I will take about 6 to 7 grams worth and I feel nada but it's something I need to keep playing with. I have those big 00 red capsules maybe there is something that will dissolve faster?

I'll keep the full stomach thing in mind, tbh the last two times I tried I do believe it was within an hour of eating lunch. Something like that.

You definitely need an empty stomach with capsules - your stomach will be competing with digestion of food and not be able to handle the capsules.

Also - I'd try less. I was doing 7-9 grams and it wasn't working - stepped down to 2.5-3 grams and BINGO!

How about a bag of kratom and a small glass bottle. I keep this in my car at all times or my backpack and just carry water or buy a mixer. Been doing this for years. Eventually you get over the taste and its no big deal

Hey there yung_lee still around ? I saw on Reddit, it came out that Wonderland's 38% extract IS the Overseas Organix stuff... that's their wholesale distributor. I haven't checked WG lately, but really still enjoying the variety extract I got from them... A little goes a long way. I spike my "regular" serving of Plain Leaf, few times a week, good stuff. Hope you're still here and part of our Lee family

Interesting, makes sense that overseas organix is their supplier, the same labs are on a ton of their products.

My burns and leaf have been so good of late haven’t been tempted to use extract for a while. Some quality leaf out there if you know where to look!

blate papes 100%. I've been a daily user for nearly 7 years and the first 3 years while I was still a newbie, I made my own 000 capsules. The biggest pain in the ass ever. But about 4 years ago I started using blate papes and they work great, in fact much better. Capsules still worked for me when I was a fairly new user like Kellytoons but once you start using blate papes or toss and wash then try to go back to capsules, the capsules don't work at all. Blate papes changed my life and kratom works so much better. Or make tea or red bubble but I would NOT recommend capsules.

However the last 4 years I use blate papes or sometimes do red bubble and it works much better. I still have the capsule machine and a big bag of 000 capsules so I made a bunch one evening (god I don't miss that at all) and I couldn't for the life of me get anything out of kratom using capsules. Blate Papes changed my life they are so easy not mess and kratom works much better. I have a friend who makes tea or uses blate papes with no problem and she is 86 years young.

How many grams can you stuff in a blate paper?

You could probably fit 4.5 to 5g but too big to swallow! I used to make mine 2.5-3g but now make them smaller around 2g. Easier to swallow and also lowered my dosing that way. Only downside is then you use more oblates.

They are somewhat fragile, the paper is very very thin and that's why you have to swallow them very fast or they break open in your mouth or throat. I don't let it touch roof of mouth, put on tongue and immediately surround it with liquid in my mouth before I swallow and drink more to get it all the way down. I keep them in tiny plastic containers with a slip of paper with the strain name on it. You can double wrap them, makes them sturdier and take a little longer to dissolve. A pocket would be pretty risky due to getting friction from moving around but if it's a very loose pocket might be ok.

For many years now, I travel with my Kratom throughout the day. This way I can take it when I get where I'm going or at least not just be limited to taking it only at home. I use these, and they are crazy cheap in bulk on eBay (not as much on Amazon.) Mine however are dark blue and not see through, which is helpful so nobody see's me walking around with transparent standard pill bottles, thinking I slamming prescription meds out and about lol.

So I did some digging to find where I bought mine because its been so long - these things last forever. Found my order from 2.5 years ago, bought them on eBay. Through my quick research... it turns out that they are dark blue as that is the standard color for veterinarian prescriptions. Anyway, I got 12 of them for like $6.50. This is what I'm referring to though. They are perfect for holding smaller to moderate doses. Seems to hold 4-5 grams max.
