Is headshop kratom any good these days?

Now before I get torched here I am only asking because Im flying to Houston for the World Series past minute and I dont feel like bothering with bringing kratom with me. I dont want the hassle or get delayed. Im taking some OPMS gold but I know I wont get the full spectrum. Are any headshop brands passable in quality? I know its not on the same level as the small batch vendors but was curious if anyone has tried any lately.

I went to chicago and forgot my tea at home, I went to headshop and get an Oz or so. It was fire, Top ones I've ever had. It could be a huge hit or miss type sitch, but better than having none.

Good to know. If I was checking a bag I’d have no issue putting a quarter in there. Just not trying to deal with any BS while trying to make my flight. Id only need about 32 triple 0 caps but it aint going to be in original packaging so im more hesitant about it

There are a few things that look a lot like kratom, especially in capsule form. Can't you get matcha in capsules? Dump out the matcha, put the kratom capsules in. "Original Container" Just a thought and it will save you the $55 on the ounce of Krave or Remarkable Herbs. (not really THAT expensive, but you know....)

But are you sure you want to take a substance with a "dangerous high?"

I just found this looking up green herbs in capsules and found it laughable. Just sharing for a lark. Think about the fact that they are allowed to lie like this about LITERALLY ANYTHING.

It's been a LONG time since I've flown (retired to Florida and don't go anywhere not in this wonderful state) but are capsules in plastic bottles REALLY a problem?

I can't imagine they would be - I go to DisneyWorld all the time with tons of kratom in my pockets. No metal detector issues, and drug-sniffing dogs can't smell kratom (well, they aren't trained to smell it - I'm sure you COULD train one but no one would). So why in heaven's name would you worry? Are they strip searching folks nowadays?

(And, if so, then vote the devils out - we still have SOME rights in this country and being searched like this is against ALL of them).

I flew to south padre island and florida keys with 5-250g bags of kratom in my suitcase. Plus a small bag in my carry on and no issues.

Yeah im totally overthinking it. Im just putting capsules in a green tea extract bottle. Just anxious about getting delayed or held up at security.

We fly with kratom every time in our carryons! They will pull you to the side ask what it is and then say have a good day. We’ve never been held up for too long.

you don't need to worry about bringing kratom on a flight. it's legal. and they don't care. it literally says that on the TSA website. they arent looking for drugs. all they care about is weapons and explosives. I recently flew to Dallas with 6-7 different strains, the bags were all unsealed. I had them in my carryons the whole time, they went through the machine and TSA didn't look twice. you can bring as much powder as you want, but if it's over 12oz they want you to take it out of your carry-on and put it in a separate bin. they might swab it, but they're only looking for explosives.

if you look on reddit, they have a superthread/faq about flying with kratom, because people ask all the time. it answers every question, and has a multitude of people's recent experiences.

tl;dr
you can bring as much kratom in your carry-on as you want. it's legal. TSA clearly states on their website they aren't looking for drugs. they do not care, but again, it's legal. you need not worry.
