Tired of plunging your poop stuck toilet? This will help.

Post by IndelibleDotInk »

So we've been in this brand new house for maybe 2.5yrs, and me and my dad have managed to clog my toilet like 4 times maybe. And before that at our old place there were some times that happened too. Anyway, we both have normal poops, with my dad's being very soft and mine being small boulders, neither of which should cause a blockage. Maybe we can blame it on the toilet paper or just too skinny pipes? Super glad we don't have poop shelves in the bowls (it's a European thing afaik).

Anyway, very tired of dumping hot water and waiting - easiest solution until this! https://www.temu.com/ul/kuiper/un9.html ... 6HEALw_wcB

It's genius, comes with everything you need to build up some pressure and kaboosh! Clog fixed in a minute. To break it down, use bicycle pump, put some air in the unit, put on desired accessory if needed, and blast away.

You know how older people are about their poops, always gotta have a good poop to have a good day. I'm really glad we have this, and one thing I did for him was install a bidet. I don't use the damn thing, but he does. Had it for five years and he uses it at least daily, so 5 x 365 = 1825 sanitary fountains of water. Thing came in a double pack so I sold the extra for $25, which was the same as I paid on Amazon, so free for us! It installs in a few minutes, but it takes a lot of time maneuvering back there if your piping is close to the corner.

I feel like I'm starting to make up for being such a bad son before. I make him coffee and massage his feet at his request no problem! We go get pedicures (he has an ingrown toenail which is kept under control by monthly attention.) If you've ever watched The Toe Bro on YouTube, there's a permanent way to fix an ingrown by a podiatrist, but he's happy with the pedi, and I enjoy one too. If you've never had a pedicure, you should try hit up a nail salon, your feet and legs get so clean and the blood gets circulated to put a spring in your step.

OK my friends, that is one big update for what is basically a t-shirt cannon, lol.

You come up with the most interesting posts!

Thanks for reminding me, I need to make an appointment for a pedicure. The gentleman I like at the salon
gives really intense foot and lower leg massages, gets the endorphins (and blood) flowing and I walk out of there almost high.

Dad likes the place we go to cause one of the haircutters there is friends with our family and sometimes he pops in for a haircut. He also likes the pedi chairs cause they have back massage capability... and I find it annoying, but not terrible.

The massage chairs where I go are amazing. They get you from the top of your spine all the way down to about the upper third of your thighs and your arms too.

Made an appointment for Saturday morning and the guy I like no longer works there. *cries*

Aw. Do you talk to the nail tech or do they talk to each other in (usually) Thai or Vietnamese? There's like five or six nail salons within a ten minute drive from home, but no, my dad must have his regular worker. When she works on his ingrown area, she almost straddles my dad, tongue pointing outta her mouth, jamming the tools in his big nail, sometimes putting cotton pieces to stop the little bleeding. And my dad is tough, it's funny to hear him complain about it ("owie") lol.

Check out the ToeBro. If the ingrown is bad, like deep and painful, Jonathan uses a tournequtte around the leg above the foot to control bleeding, then injects i think, lidocaine and epinepherin for pain and cut down on bleeding. Shit huge needles, but he says there's only two nerves he needs to hit. Then he uses industrial nippers, these babies are hardcore, throw any elegance away, and clips up to the cuticle. Tweezers grip the strip of nail and he twists the piece out, amazing how deep the nail can go. A little acid soaked qtip is put on the nailbed for awhile to kill off any possibility of regrowth of the strip of toenail. So the person just ends up with a less wide nail with just skin where the nail used to cover the nailbed.

His channel is neat, esp. when you see him getting huge skewers from a foot, or people with gangrene and insects living in and on the feet. Not as many diagnoses and fascinating variety as Dr. Pimplepopper aka Sandra Lee or Dr, Emma Craythorne, both dermatologists. Dr. Emma is my current crush, she's from Ireland but spent time in Scotland, so she has a totally amazing accent. She works in London, though. I could get lost in those brown eyes, no painkillers needed. Dr. Lee helped a fellow named Roger get off a huge football-sized rhinophyma from his face with a team of people (google it, it is so incredible), and Dr Emma treated a girl who was allergic to water!!!!! Crazy stuff.

Nail salons shouldn't be doing ANYTHING to an older person that breaks the skin and causes bleeding. Leave that to a podiatrist.

My son was having issues with an ingrown toenail until I taught him how to cut them properly and how to deal with it if it started to ingrow.

yeah, i've even got nicked once or twice, good to see them properly cleaning the basin area. I'll let him know, but he's stubborn.

Do yours still use the potato peeler razor? I think some places ban them, but I love when they do that.

I haven't seen that in use but I saw a tech using something like a cheese grater on this guy's heels once. He was maybe in his 50s and
had obviously never taken care of his heels.

I have a pumice thing that works really well and I use Bag Balm on my heels. Lanolin and petroleum jelly together work really well.

Your dad isn't diabetic by any chance, is he?

Hey Girl!
Hope you're doing ok in the new year. Things have been weird in my town - very weird. I don't know if it's because it's an election year, but violence is up and people seem to still be isolating even after the pandemic (we never really dealt with that). I ended up with Long Covid fro catching it a year ago; not nearly as bad as a great many folks. I mention that so that people will remain vigilant. Hospitalizations are down but if you catch it you can stil end up with LC which can lead to so many bad outcomes.

Anyway, I saw your post about massages and I figured you might just be someone who has had accupressure? A LC specialist brought it up and I jumped on that offer. I've always wanted to try acupuncture for pain too but I don't know if insurance covers that. Have you ever tried accupressure? If so, did it help with anything?

Btw: we still haven't gotten my Guy a new car but we are still determined to get the Toyota Corolla Cross, especially is it's only a little smaller than the Rav4. However, if the dealership is going to demand almost as much for the TCC as the Rav4 we might just get the bigger car. Do you still like your new car?
I should drop by more. I love catching up with you all :D

I love my new car and isn't the Rav4 like $4k more? I've seen people on the Cross sub on Reddit say that they preferred the Cross to the Rav4 for various reasons. But yeah, the Corolla Cross is a great car!

I have not tried accupressure but I have had acupuncture treatments and they're amazing (if you get a good practitioner). Cured my migraines as a teenager.

Things haven't been weird here. Yet. And I live in a pretty red area. I see some grumbles on Facebook is about it. I do think this area is going to go purple before too long though.

I miss you!

It's been one of the worst years of my life, but people are sick of hearing about it, so I just shut up and write poetry.

Yeah, there's a dollar difference between the two cars but the local dealerships are crazy greedy and they know they can get it. There was only like $2000 differenc between the two when I looked at their websites. We're going slow because - I don't know - my state is just so profoundly corrupt. I have so many reasons to leave but I'm stuck. It's Illinois if that tells you anything. I don't live in Chicago but most of the state has Chicago-envy so they live in their cow-towns but with big-city attitudes. Our city doesn't even have a proper newspaper any longer and that is BY DESIGN. It's utterly embarrassing that we don't even know what's going on over on the other side of town, what events are happening and where and what is being done about corruption. Hint: Nothing! Nothing is being done and so, as we have done for over a century, very bad behavior goes on right in front of our eyes but nothing gets done about it. "Oh well, the head of this big agency just got caught stealing. Guess we won't talk about it. Move them laterally to another department. No one will notice." It's just a very unwelcoming place. It's also Racist AF, but we are The Land of Lincloln. There, I gave it away. Don't visit folks. Just read the history.

I hope everyone makes it through the elections. I figure if You-Know-Who wins it will be a nightmare. If he loses, it will be a nightmare.

It's nightmares ALL THE WAY DOWN.

I'm so grateful to be in my state.

Yeah, we've had some interesting cases of corruption here. But what's nice to see is, these people are actually getting voted out! One of them being the county sheriff. There is hope!

*BIG HUGS*

I really hope you come out on the other side of your problems soon.
