Soultanic - Pure Red Vein, PMD, Dark Green Pinot, Dark Elephant

A friend recommended Soul, saying that he has some of the best slower leaf out there. After a few emails back and forth, he sent me some recommendations:

Pure Red Vein, PMD, Dark Green Pinot, Dark Elephant

I started with the Dark Green Pinot (the name sounded cool) - this is a very comfortable green; just the speed that I like - a slower mid. This has a really interesting 'heady' feel to it. A nice mood calming, and at the same time, mood elevating vibe.

Next the Pure Red Vein - this was in a nice, fresh CLUMP. Like the DGP, it definitely gives a substantial mood lift, but has the added benefit of a pronounced relaxing effect. I can literally feel a slow ebb of relief start and my feet and roll upwards; like getting in a hot tub (if you let out a sigh of relief, take note if you are standing around other people)

The PMD - This didn't hit well for me at first, not bad; just nothing pronounced. However, I found that I was taking a little too much, after dialing back my dose a bit, this seemed to hit WAY harder. It has almost as much tension relief as the PRV, but has a great motivated calm that comes with it.

Now this Dark Elephant - this is one of some of the heaviest and fuzziest leaf that I have had in awhile. I took this with a cup of coffee and still found myself dozing off. I found that mixing this with the PMD kept me more alert, while giving me a great mood life (a 'everything is fine, this is fine' sort of feeling).

This was a fun experiment! Sometimes it can be a challenge to find that balance of relaxing calm, but not being put to bed - this definitely fits the bill for that. Not to mention that Barry was very helpful, answered any questions that I had and made some excellent recommendations.

What began as a 'well, this is good kratom, but didn't hit well for me' became a 'this is one of the best greens that I have had' once I dropped my dose back.

I think they were doing some website maintenance when I signed up. The owner and I emailed back and forth and I was given access. He may have the site down when stock it out, I’m not sure.

Thanks for sharing, you picked different strains than I did so was nice to hear. I did get the dgp. The green saka is quite nice and the red thai a very warming evening red though not fermented.

Whaaa? I’ve been getting his e-nails for a long time and has some of the consistently best I’ve had

With that said, as far as I’ve been buying from him, it’s always been “e-mail drop” and first come, first serve. Still times when I haven’t gotten my first choice and I’m quick, because I refuse to play that game with more than one vendor. (Who was the first to gamify with that model? Ha!)


This post is confusing. He only drops once in a blue moon. Not his primary business, obviously. I can only assume this post is either a lost user (but the response confused me, because you’re saying he let you buy from him?), or he’s considering venturing into a more full-time business, and gauging interest level with this post?


Either way, I don’t care, and would be excited if he were going more regular. But just confused, because I want some from him right now!

Oh man I loved the PRV and PMD to me they were both heavy hitters. The PRV is an amazing evening strain and the PMD hits differently at different dose and is a great blender.

I've ordered a handful of times and their powder is always solid. His drops are random timing and it goes pretty quick. His payment options can be a little tricky and my last order just died on the vine....never got an invoice and I didn't get a response via email. But definitely worth an order or two. I love the art that he uses on his website for his drops! Pretty far out anime styling

I had stuff in my cart sell out while i tried to navigate payment. Lol people that can order on that site quickly have an advantage. I ended getting 3 of my top 5 choices. Agree its good leaf w sporadic drops.
