trouble accessing the site

For the past couple months, the site is slow to open, long wait before the tab loads anything...goes to a black screen which says it's checking if I'm human, then goes to the site after awhile.

Now it doesn't even go to the black screen until after a few minutes, just waiting, waiting. Then finally waiting to check if I'm human... long wait...

Then once I hit the site it's ok.

Don't mean to whine, I just am wondering if everything is ok.

There are no issues with the firewall that I’m aware of and nobody else has reported this either.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?

no. The amount of time varies, too...sometimes it's a sec or a few secs, sometimes it's minutes and I open multiple tabs, one of which takes me to the site.. or i get fed up and return to doubleM later.
