An 🔥Awesome🔥 TFH Blend!

Post by SeventhHeaven »

This morning I decided it'd been too long since I'd tried a new blend, so -

TFH Baik Bali Red Especial: I-KUN11 -and- TFH Jolly Red Giant: MIR-W8, 50/50

I can't say anything about the legs this blend is gonna have, since I just took it 45 minutes ago, but my oh my oh my - if you have these two batches on hand, take a 50/50 blend for a spin! VERY nice, super warm fuzzies, and good feels off the charts! This one is a keeper!!

Oh, and excellent pain relief (my fingers on my right hand are currently a year and a half into what'll probably be two years of very painful osteoarthritis degeneration). But right now? Pain? Nope, none, nada.

A lot of us have tried various blendings of TFH reds - they seem to almost always be at least very good, if not spectacular. But this one may be the nicest TFH blend I've tried so far!

Thanks for this news. I have both strains buried in my kratom library. Neither strain ever did anything for me, but I have found blending to be able to turn duds into gangbusters. Blast Off Bali & Red Dayak make a mind blowing team, & the best part is it only takes 1/4g of BoB & 3/4g of RD.

Turns out the legs on this one were about average - not a bad thing - maybe two and a half hours of awesomesauce, followed by a few pain-reduced hours. Not bad at all.

But the first couple or three hours were spectacular 😁

I'm gonna wait a while and try the Baik Bali with Bali Bliss, since that worked well for me a while back 😊 That Baik Bali Red is SUCH an excellent blender!

Sounds delicious! Was it fast/slow? I love some heavy reds but I can't take them during the day even if the pain relief is good.

I'll just say it was medium for me - the best effects of the best reds 😊

I’ve got an 50/50 Afterburner Bali and Bali Bliss locked and loaded for later. Can’t wait to try the Baik Jolly blend . Both are excellent , two of my favorite reds , although I’ve never thought of mixing them . Can’t wait !

So far my best mix with the Baik Bali was Crown Jewel Sumpur, which wasn't as spectacular for me as it was for some people. Much better now. :)

I love the suggestions, I found one that I havent tried yet and am looking forward to it!

Now on the topic of blends - I have a genuine question, feedback would be appreciated!

I get people asking me all the time why we don't offer blends on our menu. My thought has always been that's a terrible idea, it just runs the risk of a member buying something that they already own...its just now mixed with something and given a new name. We actually work insanely hard to avoid this very situation on the Indonesian side of things (they love to mix a red and green in different ratios to sell you 15 "unique" batches, lol). As a consumer, nothing about that sounds appealing to me.

Why is this such a popular request? Yes I agree sometimes blends can be magical, but wouldn't you just rather blend them yourself? Ive always just shrugged the suggestion off, but when I read these threads it makes me wonder if I'm just the one who doesn't see the brilliance. Its like I work so hard to avoid this very thing, and yet so many people email us and ask for it, lol

I mean we do occasionally blend batches together, but we do it more as a process of "homogenizing" two different batches and then we just sell it as a single batch. We only do this when we have two small batches that would have very short lives on the menu or more frequently, if we discover in testing that there is a bit of cross tolerance in two different batches (unfortunately, sometimes batches we think are "unique" are not as "unique" as we think... thankfully we can test for this and its easy to spot).

So genuine question - Does the idea of us testing blends and selling them accordingly sound interesting? Are "blends" a service we are missing?
Texas Family Harvest - for connoisseurs, by connoisseurs.

Personally I would rather create my own blends since this is something I already practice, plus the process of finding blends that work well can be rather enjoyable.

I don’t think you should change a thing. Keep giving us pure amazing leaf. We can mix it how we want to.

I personally prefer buying straight batches and occasionally blending some myself. Especially when I'm trying a new batch, I want to know what it's like by itself. But every once in a while I'll try blending a couple of batches, and sometimes - like with this thread - the results are phenomenal; other times they're so-so.

I guess if you (Chris) came up with a blend for yourself and it was spectacular, it'd be nice to be able to buy it, maybe with something in the name like "Special Blend" or something, but TFH has SO MANY offerings, I don't know if it'd be worth it. 😁

Plus, kratom has SOOOOOO many variables and affects people differently - one person's absolutely amazing out of this world blend may be someone else's "dindu nuthin'".

I personally am a compulsive blender, about 9 out of every 10 doses is a custom blend for me. Honestly one of the only times I don't blend is when I am testing a batch for you folks. I can see myself buying the occasional "Blend", but much would much rather buy non-blends or "Pures" as some Vendors refer to them as. I am not a fan of vendors blending 2-3 "Strains" from the same harvest in various ratios to create a menu with more offerings. I definitely appreciate when they are transparent about that practice, but I still tend to avoid them. I have gotten too burnt out in the past on 4-5 strains that are basically the same 2 in different ratios. To each their own though. I 1000% love the obvious variety on the TFH menu. One of the only vendors I can consistently burn their offerings and nothing fizzles out on me even with prolonged use.

I LOVE TFH, and I’ve never thought about blends when shopping with you guys. Honestly, your stuff is so highly regarded, if you sold blends… I would just want to know the mixes so I could buy them individually assuming that they are stand alone bangers. I also do my own mixing all the time. Leave that part to the consumers : )

Like someone else said…don’t change a thing!

I do a lot of blending for my doses, probably 75% of my burns are blends. I'm a fan vendors blends as long as they are unique and do think there is a market for them, but I agree with what Enoch said in his comments about not caring about blends being the same batches in different ratios to add more menu items. I think a vendor with as much experience as yourself and all the data you collect on testing, you could likely create some very impressive batches with unique profiles. It'd probably be a neat experiment at the very least to see what customer feedback says. I wonder if blending certain batches could result in batches with more specific qualities (like a red and white blend for customers looking for "daytime reds" just as example off top of my head) as well as "full-spectrum" balanced batches. Harry from KRATOM-OG seemed to be a master of various blends. His menu used to have like 75 strains at one point and most were blends. He was my main vendor for a few years and I seem to remember one of things that made his company stand out was his blends! I personally loved his blends the most (he had an infamous blend called MD ULTRA that was a mix of 13 strains, and the first batch of it was probably the best all around leaf I think I ever had). He was upfront about the blends and often would list what strains were used. Another blend he carried was called Red Tenega that he mentioned creating to be a daytime red Bali and it was indeed a daytime red that worked great (of course, blended batches would never be the exact same, but he was pretty good at having consistent similar type profiles for many of his blends, so the Red Tenega for example was always a energetic red for me).

For myself, my favorites to blends are red/yellows at 50-50 ratio. So I would certainly buy blended batches from your company. One reason why I like buying vendor blends is that they are more consistent than if I created the same blend myself (same ratio and strains as what the vendor used), as the blending done by me may not be as precise each time especially if I'm lazy and don't use the scale hahaha
