SUGGESTIONS for SLEEP BLENDS PLEASE

Looking for some good sleep blends. A long time back I did a blend that was, as they say, LIGHTS OUT!
Slow 'n easy with that nice abdominal heat that everybody loves. As I laid there I gradually drifted into
that exquisite dreamy, half asleep, half awake, almost transcendent like state, warm and, dare I say it,
fuZZzzzY! Okay, well, maybe not fuZZzzzY, but it was damned comfortable! Well, being a dumb-ass,
on occasion, I failed to record that blend and I haven't been successful at duplicating it since. I do know it
involved a wee bit of BB's Chocolate JK and RVA's Royal Bent but that's it.
"Is there anybody out there" that has the ultimate sleep blend??? If so, which strains and how much of
each do you use???

Wow!! Psychic, ,I was just going to post this on what's burning today,,and here you are! I burned some liza's royal red bent and red monster about an hour ago,,new blend for me,,but I was wanting something to help me sleep tonight,,and I found it, I am on my benzo taper again, ,it's a longgggg story, ,anyhoot, I am going to use this combo to help the anxiety and sleepless nights,,

Awesome and not awesome. Awesome because I'm going to try that, not awesome cuz I'm
gonna have to put another order in tomorrow for more leaf (actually a couple of different orders)
and my handler (wife) is gonna kill me! I've spent way too much this past month, hell this
past six months. I assured her today that, after this month, I would be done with the large buys
for a good while.

One strain I can recall is this Beautiful Yellow Sulawesi from SoCal H-R.
My goodness what a burn... got me feeling exactly as you stated up above!

Honestly it’s hard to describe but one of my favorite effects from Kray is that ineffably distinctive feeling as if you’re with a huge crush of yours and cuddling... hear me out..
One of those type of feels as if you’re in the Antarctic after a lonngg day. You’re now home and ready for bed. Get under the comforter and slowly and consistently that “fireplace” at the end of your bed or wherever you’d like it to be, is at the right temperature.
You have an excellent book in front of you and your mind just flows with the story. No background noise, no bs! Just the waves of sweet sweet tranquility as you realize you cannot continue reading. You put the book down and with a grateful grin on thy face drifting away to sleep realizing you had a good productive day and no matter what You are enough. Nobody can tell you otherwise. You just know where you are you are safe and are loved.

I'd love to try Yellow Sulawesi, it sounds exotic! In my continual hunt for good leaf, I've never came upon that strain.
Now, I have one more strain to watch for. It sounds lovely! I'm so jealous! It sounds a little like my first few times
with BB's Chocolate Jongkong! I really need to excavate that from the closet. Haven't had it out in awhile but fortunately
I snagged a half kilo of that specific batch just before it was gone!

I just got SoCal’s Red Bali, Red Sulawesi and Red Borneo specifically to find something sedative and so far the Red Borneo is the stand out. Had high hopes for the Bali because of reviews here but I find it too stimulating for deep sleep, at least at the moment. That can always change on a dime, but for now it’s no contest. Seems like their stock is pretty stable now, you might want to order samples. All the strains are great by the way, but I’d rep the Borneo for sleep.

PS I take lower doses, like less than a gram.

Don't have Counting Sheep but I just received Smiley's Chocolate Bent this past Thursday! Thanks for the heads up on the Bent, can't wait to try it. Probably be tomorrow night.
I whipped up a tea blend for tonight of 2g. each:::SoCal's R.Cambodian & R.Sulewasi, Smiley's R.Elephant, Treasure House R.Piaman, RVA's Royal Bent and BB's Chocolate Jongkong today. Been doing some experimentation...looking for a few exceptional sleep blends, thus the reason for this thread. Of course, I won't do that blend all in one shot! A 12 g. tea blend could be a bit over the top!

WoW, that's a tough call, you'll be sorry you asked, but here are a few:
Botanical Bunny: PMD (both lot 12 &14), Chocolate Jongkong, Green Malay, Gold Bali, Wild White (consider it my best potentiate for so-so leaf), Green Jongkong from Nov.'18 and for a Yellow, his Wild Yellow from a few months back is pretty darned good.
Mystic Island: Red AND Green Vietnam are stellar for me as was some Red Bali from late Dec.'18.
RVA: Red Hulu, PMD, both 1 & 2, Green Hulu, Green Big Bang, White Big Bang, Gold Bali, Super Green #2, Red Malay
SoCal: Red Bali, Red Cambodian, Red Sulawesi and White Cambodian
Treasure House: Red AND Green Piaman, Red Elephant and the White Elephant kicks my butt and have to spike it with a slower strain. haha
Mr. SmileyTime: Red Elephant, Premium Green Thai, Red & Yellow Vietnam,Green Monster(maybe my favorite from him so far.)
Kraydo: I have 12 strains of leaf from Kraydo and none of them have let me down yet.

Overall, it's a toss up between BB's Green JongKong, PMD...Mystic Island Red & Green Vietnam, Red Bali...RVA's Red and Green Hulu and PMD...SoCal's Red Bali...Treasure House's Red Elephant and Red & Green Piaman
Mr. Smiley Time's Red Elephant, P.G.Thai, G.Monster and the Vietnams, Kraydo's ALL a toss up and for some reason all his Reds just jive with my metabolism.

I have a VAST amount of leaf I haven't even tried yet from Smiley, RVA, Kraydo, Mystic and other vendors. I can't say much about Sosa and Sacred Son cuz I've only tried one strain from each ONE time. I liked them both. Obviously White Elephant is the only White but I have a load of Whites I haven't cracked open yet. Not a big white fan simply cuz I usually don't get much from them, same with the Horns and Maeng Das. Crazy, yes?

....and I'm sure I've left out a couple.

edit: I did forget to include BB's Wild White and RVA's White Big Bang with T.H. White Elephant at the end of that spiel! My bad!

Thanks for that! I'll, most assuredly, add that one to my "must have" list. I'd love to place an order
with H.S. for the R.Vietnam right NOW, but I've been spending wayyyy too much on leaf these past
few months and my handler has finally weighed in. I'm very self-disciplined with my use, but
I have been OCD with my buys since early fall so I'm taking a small break...no more big buys until
things cool down...if ya' know what I mean!

That's too bad, man- I bought a kilo of the red Vietnam from H. S. about 3 weeks ago and my girlfriend and I both took a dose in the middle of a Saturday afternoon (fully rested the night before so lack of sleep was not an issue) and it knocked both of us out Sandman style. Not quite the effect we were aiming for, but yeah, definitely a night time blend (unless you do what I do and blend it with a good white or green vein)!

InstantKARMA- btw, I've been aiming to get some strains from Kraydos ever since your blazing review post about them. I'm having serious issues with trying to figure out which strains to get( afraid that if I get a 4 way split kilo and dont absolutely love the 4 main red strains you said you loved and could've done the whole 5way split 250g bags twice instead.....and tried 10 of their strains and then end up loving the 4 you hyped up!). I know, I know, silly apprehensiveness at its finest , but this is where my heads at right now. I think I'll do the 5way split 250g bags twice.......Which strains did you say you really, really liked again? I'm also kinda turned off by the weird payment styles of Smileys and Kraydo's. No credit cards and as far as I can tell no bitcoin, thinking paypal for Smileys and I guess I'll figure out venmo or delle for Kraydo's? How do you make your payment to Kraydo's if you don't mind me asking?

Smiley Time's Gold Bent did this to me. The exact feeling you've described. I've posted about it on here before. It's like you're wrapped in a warm embrace, at peace with everything as you melt into the bed.

And what's up with the green money option to pay Smileys? Is that a c.o.d. type deal? I feel bad for these vendors getting bent over for their payments (but I feel bad for us too). This is really a bunch of questions for anybody to answer, please, if anybody wants to help out a stressed purchaser of good leaf.....(I don't expect anybody to answer really, though it would be totally appreciated and mucho awesome).

I thought the Red Asia, Red Malay, Red Aceh and Red Jongkong were excellent. I thought the Red Asia to possibly be a little more potent, but not by much. I've tried the Red Horn once and it seems to be as good as those. The Red Maeng Da was very effective but, for me at least, it was a very heavy Red. Red Bali was similar to the Red Maeng Da but I felt it had a bit more euphoria. The Red Borneo was a very good, more middle of the road strain with a nice "feel good" element...."comfortable energy" if you will.
In the past I've had very little success with the Maeng Da's and Horn varieties, even from different vendors. I find that a bit odd, but it is what it is. Anyway, Kraydo's Red Maeng Da and Red Horn were both keepers, so, as many of the members here have pointed out, strains can be very different from vendor to vendor. I'll PM you on his payment method as forum rules dictate we don't discuss that subject.

I'm sure you're not. I normally use blends that are known to be sedating when experimenting with sleep blends and they usually work out well for that effect. Occasionally I've added a strain like PMD or another mid-spec to the mix, but when I do, I have the same experience that you're encountering. I lay awake for several hours until it fades and then it's sleepy-time. Anyway, your issue just goes to show how subjective the leaf can be. It sucks that you can't find a strain that gives you the benefit of a really nice comfortable sleep.
