Most of which are not true to there origin .. There is no way for me to accurately name from a location myself. Even the farmers themselves just name what makes them happy. As it does seem confusing, I hope once friends get to know the strains and try some, everyone can keep it listed. We all get real comfy with the norm of names and locations. Hopefully this will help.
I have heard good things about you and am always looking for good QUALITY Speciosa. I could care less about names, but in my experience the names DO (or did) mean something.
I like FASTER leaf (most times), so in my 4-5 years now using our leaf, you could have at least some idea of how a strain would feel by the name. Example: BALI...Bali, is usually a slower, relaxing strain (even the so called White Bali's)
I firmly believe the farmers (or whatever you want to call them, will blend leaf to make it FEEL like what people EXPECT from a certain strain NAME).
THAI (I know, not really a strain), but most Thai named strains would be more energetic. Red Thai was my first love, haha...a Pain relieving, mood lifting leaf, that did not put me to sleep.
So anyway, I would love to give you a try, but I need some way of knowing what I'm getting...FAST and energetic, Slow and Relaxing, or somewhere in between, or else I'm just rolling the dice with my eyes closed...and would WASTE a LOT of money trying to find faster (or slower) strains to suit my preference. Surely you can see my point? Any thoughts?
