I didn't want to add more to your other thread so I figured if anyone wanted to add stuff they could add it here. Since it's time sensitive, I want to get my surveys in after the first try, but I feel it's not that useful until it's tested a couple of times so I'm making this thread to update along the way aside from the surveys.

I hope this helps you gumbyke-- I know you're not looking for more customers. This is rather a way to gather multiple data points in a flexible manner for multiple tests of the varied strains you sent.

Also, if you are testing, maybe wait until you've tried some before reading others. I don't want to unfairly effect others' opinions one way or the other.

My husband and I will be retesting this. I took it for sleep and while it didn't help me sleep it did seem to take away the unpleasant side effects of not being able to sleep. I was calm and relaxed.
My husband had the pre-symptoms of a migraine so I made capsules of his normal amount. For him, it last around 4.5-5 hours. One variable was caffeine which he took a little while before the kratom and some more an hour or an hour and a half later. His migraines tend to be somewhat consistent. They don't typically just disappear. Even with kratom he tends to feel what he calls an "umbrella" which stays between him and the pain and he can sense the pain around the edges of the umbrella but it doesn't hurt him while the kratom is in effect.

What he found with the gold muna was that the pain was gone. It stayed gone for around 4.5 hours and then his neck started to act up so he took a different pain killer (kratom can prevent him from sleeping.)


The other strange thing was that except for a minor amount of hyperactivity that he felt, he didn't feel any other effects of a kratom high-- no itchiness, head fuzziness or anything else.

He tends to get migraines multiple times a week so he will be trying this again asap to see if it performs the same way a second time.

For me, I love golds. This was certainly fine but I didn't get any euphoria. I like it but I wouldn't necessarily feel the desire to buy it. It does feel good. It would be a perfectly fine strain to have, but I didn't feel like it stood out very much for me. I'd probably phrase it as better than 80% of kratom I've had.

What WOULD make me buy this again is if it consistently works for my husband's migraines, especially without the normal side effects that kratom often has. I'm chalking it up to kratom being a weird inconsistent plant and that the next time probably won't be the same. But how wonderful if it did? THAT would make it an automatic purchase for me, and naturally I would use it from time to time.

(I forgot to add that I would recommend this to others. And I might even get a 250gram amount but I tend to be a variety chaser, so I can absolutely recommend it but not as it being a repurchase.)

I'm maybe two hours in so I won't be doing a survey until later, probably after another testing. But so far, yeah I would buy this and likely rebuy. It's a heavy hitter and sedative. No headache (though I did drink 32oz with it.) Some initial busybee effect in the first hour where I started doing dishes and folding laundry but then it evolved into a nice "this might actually make me fall asleep" which I've experienced from other red bali's.

I do like this much better than DGBotanical's current red Bali (I think red Bali #15.) DGBotanicals is one of my favorite brands so it's no slam on him. This simply has that hands-down red Bali feeling whereas the other felt more like a generic kratom or maybe a maeng da.
