Hirsuta!

I wanted to know more about hirsuta. I've read it's a more mellow and relaxing type herbal. A few vendors stock it. I wanted to know from someone who has tried it what dosage is good? I read you have to take 15-20 grams? What was your experience with Hirsuta?

Ive had smileys regular(slower, relaxing), smileys premium(touch faster, seemed to be better quality"premium") and a couple others from MEWE people.
I have used it as a dose replacement at about 1 g more than normal dose or about 20-25% more. Its nothing special but has its purpose as dose replacement or some add alittle to their dose. Worth trying but it just seems like average kratom to me, some love it tho just depends on the quality

I use Regular and Premium Hirsuta
I have some experience but I dont really know much. Or at least dont know “enough”.
I need to USE it instead of kratom to help with tolerance break but Ive been using it to add on my normal kratom dose so 4.5g Kratom powder + 1.00g-ish ‘Hirsuta’.

I'd also like to know if taking Hirsuta only, during a kratom break, would lower your tolerance to kratom? Is there a cross tolerance? I've searched r/kratom, and found mixed answers?

Hirsuta does work for the Opioid tolerance reversal. It provides zero euphoria, and is a bit relaxing. I find that Cat's Claw bark extract (Uncaria Tomentosa) is a better alternative for such a purpose. It is cheap too, $10 on Amazon for a 4 months supply of it (https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Cats-Claw-Ex ... B0013OXCJI).

One note, generally speaking tolerance reducers are not to be taken anywhere near your Kratom dose. This also applies to Hirsuta and Cat's Claw. The reason is the Total Oxindole Alkaloids found in those botanicals. The TOA's interfere with the indole alkaloids found in Kratom, pretty much negating Kratom's positive effects, not completely though, but the magic is gone. So, timing here is everything....

I know with agmatine and others they were bad for taking away from kratom too close but I have been adding small amounts of 4% alkaloids cats claw and it has been positive and I add small under half gram hirsuta and alternate stem and vein with my doses and the affects have been good enough that I have been consistently doing this for probably 6 months... I am a 6 year kratom user btw.... I have taken maybe 3-4 small tolerance breaks but I honestly don’t need to my doses are small and everything has been great after years of vendors over doing it etc...

as for hirsuta lowering your tolerance for kratom it seems to work for some ppl, some swear by it others bot so much lol...and some report that it blocks or interferes with kratoms fx for a period of time after using it, some not....unfortunately the only way to find out is to try it for yourself, it works for me and is my go to when i need a break, i usually take hirsuta for a 24-48 or even longer, the longer the betfer...same dosing sched as my kratom and a g or 2 above my k dose, a good hirsuta gives me a bit of a mood bost, eliminates all my physical wd and gives me some energy (zero euphoria)....much more so than tapering or s&v, or ct... after i stop hirsuta my kratom burns are weak for around 36 hrs, smileys prem hirsuta is pretty good, leaves of eden if you can find it is better, and ive heard good things about mitra mans as well

A benefit of hirsuta and javanica is it keeps minor wd’s at bay so a tolerance break can be more manageable. As far as taking it for effects, forget it. But if you’re getting RLS or other symptoms during a TB, hirsuta can be helpful.

Do you find it interferes with your doses? I have been cutting my day time doses with a couple g of hirsuta and it started out working extremely well but I feel almost as if I have a tolerance to the hirsuta as well. Been debating leaving it out of my daytime and just hitting a lower dose but have been too afraid of interdose withdrawals.
