HOW DO YOU WATCH YOUR FREE MEDIA?

Post by gravystainonmyshirt »

I have been using a pc connected to my tv for the longest time and was watching movies and television through free online streaming sites like 123movies and now just got an Android TV Box.
There are many brands, I got the MX10 tv box and i must say it is pretty cool. It works just like a android phone, I connect a mini keyboard to it and install apps like BeeTV or Showbox and then it streams all the latest movies for free straight to the tv without all the extra cords and room my pc took up. It plays up to 4k as well. It is way quieter and is so small im able to hide it behind my tv that hangs on the wall and you cant even tell that there is anything hooked up to it. People ask how it works cuz they dont see anything hooked up to it.
I must say, im thrilled with it. I got the Showbox app and BeeTV apps on onhax.me , if you get showbox it usually has advertisements that pop up right before you watch a movie. Not that annoying, you just click the back button and its gone. But if you go onto onhax they have modded versions of the APKs that removes all the ads. Onhax has a bunch of other stuff too, like a modded apk of Spotify that removes all the ads so i can listen to any music on my tv surround system for free without any annoying ads.

If you have a setup that your happy with please share as well, im always looking for the next best thing. Ps.. this tv box only cost 50 bucks and since i get all my media music/tv/movies for free its kinda hard to beat ya know. But there is always better i assume.

Huh. Depends on what kind of media content right? ANY stored content - Old movies, Old TV shows, Games, Music etc. are all cheap or FREE and can be streamed from many sources .. I do like Amazon Prime Video it's got weird old movies that even Netflix does not have. I compared, for example, found Italian Horror classics on Amazon, that were not on Netflix. :geek:

However.... LIVE content is the battle right now. You want LIVE news and sports? CNN, ESPN, etc. Prepare to pay $50 bucks a month for YouTube TV, or even Sling TV (may not have the channels U want?) $35 per month or, Hulu TV about the same.

Of course your Internet connection for fast WiFi will cost ? Around $60 to 80 per month, for decent speed, unless U want your movies to stop choke and reload. That includes Fees, Taxes, etc. Sure U can save 10 bucks by purchasing your own Router, but ? So... TOTAL for Live TV is always around $140 per month everything included ...

...and the Cable companies know you can't unplug and beat that. Unless you only watch Old Movies?

Ur right about the news, i still subscribe to Xfinity and use the xfinity app on my android tvbox so i can watch the news basically. I wish CNN MSNBC .... and FOX.... would be on free cable so i didnt have to pay to watch it but its combo’d with my internet plan so its cheaper. Plus if you call Xfinity and complain, they have 3 tiers of escalations, so if you call and say you want to cancel your plan to go to dish or some other company (mention another company name) they will transfer you to their “Deals” department before cancelling you. They will transfer you once, then say ok, i will transfer you again to the actual person who can cancel you, then again, that person offers you an even better deal than the first offer. So if you hold out, and wait for the second, or even third offer you can get your tv/internet plan for the price of one, and even get showtime/hbo free for a year on top of it.
