Whoa. A long read but well worth it. I was expecting something different, I think, because it's about Robert Kennedy Jr (antivax maybe?) but ended up happily surprised and educated. Bobby Jr's doing a great thing. Thanks, Blends!
As an afternote I would add: I'm old enough to remember Bobby Kennedy, though I was still a child when he died, and I often -- especially these days -- wonder about how much different we'd be as a country if he'd had a chance to win the presidency back in 68 and no Watergate ever followed. Glad to see Jr carrying on the same kind of public service.

It's funny how one turn of events can change history forever. On a different note, John Kennedy once waved at me when I was about 2. He was in a parade and turned the corner right in front of us. My mom said I waved and he waved back. Maybe he should've given up parades after that. Hmmm...whiffypants wrote:Whoa. A long read but well worth it. My mom took me to see JFK in a parade in Seattle when I was quite young too. Mom and I had our photo in the newspaper that night or the next morning, I remember her showing it to me. I think it was 1960, I was almost four.MetalMamaRocks wrote:It's funny how one turn of events can change history forever. On a different note, John Kennedy once waved at me when I was about 2. That's so cool! We saw him in Niagara Falls, NY. That's where I'm from. My grandmother loved JFK. She had a picture if him hanging in her living room up until the day she died 5 years ago. Lol. I often wonder what she would think of our current presidentherbalhippie wrote: My mom took me to see JFK in a parade in Seattle when I was quite young too.
