Recs for a Red for Back Pain

Post by Feely »

Hi, all.
I used to use kratom recreationally. I always preferred greens for that purpose until I gave it up for various reasons.
Anyway, I'm plagued with back pain and have to wait 3 effing weeks for block injections, and meanwhile, to bad, so sad, no pain meds for you. I assume it's due to the current climate regarding opiates and what not. It's a shitty place to be and I'm pretty pissed about it.
So I'm taking things into. My own hands.
I just need a recommendation for what red and from where. I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance.

Unfortunately they are currently out of the red aceh but should have more in a couple weeks. The premium red elephant is pretty good though.

I would bet that there are a ton of people out there that have turned to Kratom because of the medical community's refusal to help those that need help, and then those people seeking Kratom out for this reason discover that this is a better solution.

Two hip replacements, 4 back surgeries and a spinal stimulator later is why I got involved, then discovered the benefits of this.

Interesting that ever since I have been using this on a regular basis I don't get sick and the doctors that have seen me always comment about how good my blood pressure is, five years ago I was on medication for high blood pressure and though I am not a Doctor I believe that regular Kratom use is the reason for this change.

One of the 'scientists' that penned the letter to the senate last month (a psychologist from the University of Rochester who has done a lot of Kratom research) is right down the street from me and having communicated with him through LinkedIn really feel the medical community that has studied this is on our side.

It would be rather difficult to argue with the thousands of people who have had success with this for the different reasons that they have used this for.

Thanks for the replies. I see it's back in stock, if I'm looking at the right one. I think I'll give it a go. I'm assuming I should start with a couple grams (dosing)?

Do you have a scale? How much did you use recreationally?

I dose at around .75 gram, sometimes a little higher. Two grams seems to be the sweet spot for a lot of people using kratom for pain. I think it's better to start low and work your way up to the amount you need rather than to start higher.

Absolutely. For so many reasons. I've never heard regrets from anyone that started low and increased only as necessary, but I've heard plenty from people who started high.

No, that's actually kind of high for someone starting kratom for pain control, because the assumption is that you'll be using it most days or even every day. So you -really- want to start low and increase only as necessary to keep it effective and diminish establishing tolerance.

There's a process for finding your own lowest effective dose; check it out. It's pretty straightforward and you only have to do it once.

But in addition to being the best way to go physically, it's wise financially: if 1 gram does what you need it to do, why take 2 grams when it's doubling your cost? Not a big deal now, but in a year it easily could be if you find you're taking it 2x or 3x daily.
