Kratom blues

Post by Happygoverment »

Man i forgot how bad going without sucks im on a involuntary tolerance break on day one and im already starting to get nervous i need to take a break though it's been a few months anyone have any good advice to make things easier? All the things that come to mind for me are the stupid things i was doing before kratom i won't do them cause i know i won't stop if I do and i have came so far from sleeping behind dumpsters and out on the streets being homeless kratom worked for me it's the only thing that has sorry for rambling and I hope im not breaking any rules but I know a lot of people go on tolerance breaks and as far as personally i don't know anyone who does kratom none of my friends do there still doing things i used to do only know of people on kratom forums and what I have read the thing i have noticed is people in the kratom community are cool and friendly folks and very helpful unlike anything I've ever known just would like to know a way to make it a little less unpleasant

One or two 00 capsules of plain leaf are enough to ease the anxiety for me. That's not enough for me to feel effects but it's enough to erase most of the grumpiness and cravings.

I agree with psychonaut 1 to 1.5 grams wont provide effects...but will greatly reduce most of your wd symptoms. The positive to the situation, when the two weeks is up you will be able to drop your serving and it will work much better. Hang in there!

Yes, that's actually the definition.

For what it's worth OP, I was homeless for over a year back in 2012 and it really sucked. I definitely feel for you. Not to mention the ever-present boredom of having nothing to do all day. I'm not going to be one of those types of person to tell you to suck it up and get a job because I know how hard that is especially with the coronavirus breakout. But I do wish you well. Kratom may help temporarily but it is by no means a solution to your problems. Usually I don't bother with giving out Kratom for free, but if you can somehow pay for shipping I would send you a couple hundred grand no strings attached. someone did something extremely nice for me earlier this month and I've been trying to pay it back ever since. I would assume you'd be using a general delivery address unless you have someone cool enough to let you crash on the couch and accepts mail for you.

On a separate note, have you ever tried train-hopping? Don't get me wrong it can be quite dangerous but it's fun and it can get you out of the monotony of living in a city and you can see part of the country as well as pick up a new skill set.

Don't take this as OP begging what do ever, personally. Seems like genuinely asking for other ways of coping with going without kratom, in fact, which is more than understandable and not against any rules.

Sorry to hear that you're going through rough times OP!! I truly understand the struggle as I have been there in the past myself, as plenty of others here probably have too. I want to say welcome to this community, and whole heatedly wish you the best of luck with all things! I hope that things start looking up for you really soon.

I didn't take it that way either. not. at. all. seems like Damen was in a bad, not very nice, mood. maybe needs a little extra himself??? unless I missed something somewhere, why would anyone assume he was that down on his luck. common man... really? even if I'm all out of tea, I still have a job and my own house. that was just. mean. especially to someone (someone new, looking for support) who is simply asking for some tips to make it thru the next two weeks more comfortably. please be nice.

Haters gonna hate and ainters gonna ain’t. Never feel bad for reaching out for support, no need to feel guilty or negative in anyway about it. Sometimes it’s a lot easier to reach out to complete strangers than people ya know. Welcome here. Hope ya find the positivity in your life you’re looking for and stay on the up and up!

Give me a break. I wasn't in a bad mood and if anything I was just following the forum's rules. Not that it's any of your business but I have plenty of Kratom. How was it mean to remind people of a forum rule (#2 at that)? Read the rules for yourself and you see why I mentioned it. We have beggars here that legitimately asked for free Kratom here and there. I'm not assuming that Op is one of them, but seriously don't make assumptions that you can't back up. Tossing out insults is not a good way to get your point across. There's one thing between asking for tips and it's totally different 2 ask for Kratom unsolicited. Again I wasn't being mean I was just reiterating a form rule. Try educating yourself before you froth at the mouth and insulting people and keep your unfounded claims to yourself. Thanks bud. For someone that is complaining about me being mean, you sure aren't following your own by implying that I'm being mean..

Here is the rule I was citing by the way.
2. Do not beg or ask for free kratom handouts, even in roundabout ways. These types of posts are annoying and will be removed. ultimately it's the mods decision on whether a comment breaks a rule or not. However there are rules for a reason.

Thank you Ace for explaining it in easier to understand way and without resorting to childish insults.. Let me just remind starshine that I was only posting a question in the first place. Respect, Ace. Some users here could take a leaf out of your book. Calling someone stupid and referring to them as not having enough Kratom is never an effective way to get your point across. Perhaps I'm not the one with the real problem here. But I am glad you got whatever it was off your chest.

Thanks Damen I appreciate the recognition and kind words on how we try to handle things here on DoubleM!! We have in fact had some begging type posts, especially during this pandemic I'd say.... But this doesn't seem to be one of them in my opinion. And you are also correct in saying that tossing around insults, accusations, and the like is not appreciated here either and in fact also against our rules.

SO PLEASE EVERYONE REMAIN CIVIL AND PLAY NICELY!!!
Disagreements, misunderstandings and whatever else happen all the time which is perfectly natural.... BUT how they are handled by the individuals is what paints the more important picture. So as they say in Bill and Ted.... "Be excellent to each other!!"

Thanks guys, Kratom on, and Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's!

Thanks Ace, but I believe I was civil in my response. I didn't call anyone mean or stupid or insinuate that someone else had a bad day. This is what mods are for!

I'll reiterate my offer that if shipping is paid for I will send 75 to 100 grams for free. I won't be able to make this offer forever but for now I can.

Damen,
I found your remarks to be highly offensive and derogatory to not only OP but this community. Your remarks made me sick to my stomach and completely lack any compassion. There was absolutely no reason to respond to OP the way you replied. I find it frustrating that the only person who has called you out on it is Starshiine. I know Ace is trying to keep things civil and I respect his position. But your posts were downright mean and hurtful. I think you owe OP an apology. And your offer, while it seems nice, is not genuine. Sorry Ace...it is difficult for me to hold my tongue when I see people outright being disrespectful and unkind. I would do the same for any of you if one of you were attacked unnecessarily by another one of the members including you Damen. It might behoove you to read Rule #1) Be considerate of other members. Harassment and trolling of any kind will not be tolerated here. Hate speech, threats, insults, accusing others of being a shill, and derogatory comments are not allowed and will be dealt with swiftly.

You seriously got sick to your stomach? Wow

And yes my offer was genuine. whether you choose to believe it or not. Try me. No apology is needed on my end. all I did was ask a simple question about the rules. I didn't call people stupid or call people mean or any of that stuff like your buddy over there. I think you might need to grow some thicker skin if you're going to make it on the internet. There was absolutely no hate speech, harassment, or trolling. geez I can't believe I'm actually responding to this this is. totally ludicrous.

Seriously shaking my head now. Dude, you are coming across as a bully. You're being aggressive, and this is the kind of behavior that drives well-meaning, thoughtful and helpful people away from forums. I mean, if you want to start making the rules and dictate OUR behavior for us, then you might - indeed - have the whole place to yourself.

@DamonCK, I think it would be great if you could give it a few days and reread your response to the OP, as well as what the OP wrote. At best, your response was tone-deaf.

Also, you made your offer to send him/her/them Kratom publicly, rather than in a PM ... and you did it after deducing (incorrectly, to my perception) that the OP was begging.

The OP is hardly likely to accept ... The odds you would be discreet about your gift aren't great.

I don't know you but it could be you are rather like I am in my online communications ... I don't always consider the variety of ways my words might be perceived.

I have never been homeless myself but I have been broke/dependent due to medical issues for a very long time.

Poverty can be isolating ... One becomes reluctant to disclose details of their daily life for fear this will be perceived as begging for relief, when the only relief you were actually seeking was an opportunity to vent without being judged.

This isn't begging. This person is coming from a less than privileged position, asking for advice. I have done that myself in the past, asking about kratom companies that still offer 1oz packs for a reasonable cost. Sorry if he wasn't able to get five kilos at the TFH open event, but this community is inclusive and begging is such a painful word for someone who has ever been brave enough to ask for help. Except, he is merely seeking advice. Let's not stigmatize and alienate members by accusing them of begging...that is not the essence of this post at all. I have a chronic illness and my disease is painful, and I was, for a short time, homeless. I went cold turkey off kratom, the medicine that keeps my pain in check. I never said a thing because of the stigma, and at the end, had PTSD on top of ailing health. It just hurts to read. Begging. That is one triggering word.

Confused. Damon moved on nearly a year ago? What does that mean? And are you commenting for the sake of being helpful and participating, or is it just to get points up to join Trading Post or something.

The debacle with the OP is still here, and it's a painful one. I may be out of line, but it sounds like you're using the adversity of this post to just rank up points. If you want to do that, participate in, 'What's burning today'? It's a friendly ongoing thread where we learn what kind of kratom delights everyone is having and enjoying right now.

My apologies. Because of the recent comments, this highly volatile post was bumped to the very top of the 'kratom discussion' thread and I assumed that this was an ongoing conversation. Otherwose, a post that had been dead for nearly a year would be no where near the top. I wish I hadn't even read it, since it is a charged issue and indeed, I explained why the post was triggering for me until I received your response. But on the bright side, at least you have two comments from this one, right? I gave you something to respond to? Again, my bad for not realizing the post was from July 2020. I never saw this at the time, but I mean what I said to the person who called OP a beggar.

Please know I am a positive and nice member of this community and participate often, but I can't see someone call another person a beggar without responding. There is no way of deleting my comment, but this is the last I can post here, as I want this thread to dissipate. You are welcome to PM me!

The posts have to be meaningful interactions. Not just posting for the sake of posting or filling a progress bar. The reason for the 10 post count is that we want to see you're an active, helpful part of the community before you are allowed to trade and exchange sensitive personal information with other traders.
