One of my packages hasn't updated since the 28th aside from the automatic status of "Arriving late"

edit: This is a TFH package also. I wonder if the USPS distribution centers down there are massively understaffed or something.

Welp, tracking hasn't updated yet again. This is absolutely ridiculous. It was put into the mail system on Monday and won't be getting here now until this upcoming monday. Every other package we've ordered has come within a reasonable time frame, EXCEPT my kratom.

It gets better. The tracking updated saying it was once AGAIN leaving the same distribution center it was supposed to have left in texas two days ago. At this point its just comical. I've never had a priority package go this long before.

I am in Eastern WA and sent a package to Portland, OR once. It went from here, to Seattle, to somewhere in Oregon and then went on an extended trip all over the country. I remember it getting scanned in TN at one point.

I buy a lot of stuff on eBay and have definitely noticed frequent delays in the past couple months, but everything does eventually get to me. If something is really lost, Priority Mail (which I believe TFH uses) has $50 insurance coverage.

I've gotten that message a few times over the years and I've always wondered if it meant the package and its contents were damaged during shipping because it usually involved heavy packages. If the order comes from one of Amazon's 3rd party Marketplace sellers, they just issue the refund but if it comes from an Amazon warehouse, they usually offer a replacement and a refund. If it's any consolation, the refunds don't usually take more than a day or two.

Workers at the distrbution plants where the mail sorting really happens are able to call out of work with no penalty during all of this. So employees are calling out. Also the new post master is trying to cut down on overtime. Its what any new boss does if hes trying to cut cost. He is also making it more structured and keep people from working over to get the work done. Im sure after a few months of this he will increase employee count to get production up or make some changes so that overtime stays lower but production is increased. According to my local post master the people at the plant have worked the same way for 30 years+ and they dont like any change. Working at various places my whole life and seeing similar things happen. Good ideas and new procedures take time for employees to pick up, even if they are the better way of doing something, there is always push back.

Ditto on all of this for me. Why would USPS deliberately slow down? I would love to work for them, seems like a good job to me. Maybe people should wake up and start using FedEx. They all have their problems but FedEx seems much better.

My package has now been "in transit" for 3 weeks since it was shipped. Submitted a Help Request. My local USPS office called me and said it hasn't been updated since 7/23 and shows that it could still be in TX. I stopped getting "your package is arriving late but is in transit" on 7/27. USPS employee advised that I submit a Missing Mail Search Request, so I've done that. Not looking good for me!

I ordered from Treasure House Botanicals on Sun Aug 2. & Ben mailed it promptly. Received USPS tracking on Mon. predicting a Thur delivery. Tracking emails showed my package left Conn to Mass. to Columbus ,Oh, Cincinnati, Oh, Dayton, Oh, then delivered to my mailbox this morning. I was impressed. USPS can still deliver sometimes lol.

I've had exactly the opposite experience FedEx has caused me more headaches than the USPS and UPS combined. Every time I see that an on-line merchant is using FedEx, I mentally prepare myself for delayed, or incomplete deliveries and damaged packages. The UPS guy for my apartment building once treated me to a spirited...er...discussion about the pitfalls of using FedEx. Of course, he's probably biased but he had just brought me a broken box that FedEx had abandoned in front of my building.

I always cringe when I have to get something and it's coming by FedEx. The driver WILL NOT bring it down the stairs to my apartment, he leaves it on the upstairs neighbor's porch where anyone driving by could see it and pick it up. Plus, the upstairs neighbors takes everything left there into his apartment, even if he didn't order anything, and then looks at the address later in the day if he thinks about it.

Usps has been dreadful since Covid hit. I ordered from a great vendor that live 55 minutes away from me (he doesn't own a store, strictly online) via priority mail and it took 5 days to get to me! I was stretching the hell out of the remaining Kratom I had and I ended up having to buy some at the local headshot to get me through

My Mother lives 2.5 (Two point Five) MILES away from me. It took 15 days to get her letter. She had sent one on the first of May (that one had a check in it). We NEVER saw that one.

But I ordered what ended up being some shit vitamins from Amazon on the 2cd of August. They were on my doorstep 36 hours later, just like the Soy Protein I ordered from them. Pretty soon they will be calling Bezos's warehouses The CHURCHES of the Redeemable Coupon for Free Returns Amen.

I ordered one day amazon and it was here the next day all 4 items on sunday??? i didnt know amazon works all days now. what if that was the plan, increase amazon shipments time and slow down everything else so more can make a swing switch to the almighty amazon?

I am having this same issue and it is really upsetting. Waiting anxiously for it to arrive but tracking just says it will be late. No update since last week, no indication on where it even is. Initially it was supposedly on time and then day it was supposed to be delivered it changes to oooppsss ...not gonna be there today. Will be late. Really frustrating. I am not completely out of Kratom, but like someone else said: down to using bunk stuff that has been sitting around. I want my new TFH!

Wow greyfeather you have been waiting three weeks for your TFH order? I have been waiting over 2 weeks for my botanical bunny order. I am running incredibly low on kratom and am now worried I am going to run out bc even if I order more now no telling how long it will take. I usually always have a few kilos put back but I helped out a friend in need a few weeks ago so now I am under 100 grams!

As far as I know fedex and ups refuse to ship for kratom vendors. I have a package out there that was supposed to be delivered seven days ago and still hasnt came. Apparently usps will be a shit show for the forseeable future. I had a conversation with my mail man today(great guy btw) and he said that he doesnr expect it to change anytime soon. Apparently now they have just ended their deliver everything on the truck policy so whatever isnt delivered come 5pm goes back to the post office that day and he said because of that packages are backing up in the thousands.

I know this wasn't directed to me but by the end of this week it'll have be 4 weeks since my TFH package was shipped out. I never would've expected that it would take this long. On the USPS side, I don't really see a resolution in sight, unfortunately. It's not like they're going to track it down for me. It'll either turn up sooner or later, or it won't.

Wow I was really wanting to order durring this next event coming up, but now I really dont know if I should I don't want to spend $100+ to not even know if I will get my kratom or wait a month+ for it. I think it has something to do with packages coming out of texas bc my botanical bunny is delayed weeks coming from Texas and my friend told me he ordered from kog about 4 days ago and he already got his order today! It came from New Jersey. Apparently the USPS hub locations are the ones having the hardest time with the new usps changes

No. I think I may be causing some confusion. I was asking if Gela has been waiting 3 weeks. I got my last TFH order in good time. I was just concerned that if folks are still waiting for shipments from the last event (without having tracking information) it might be time to go the USPS site and fill out a Search Request.

I've heard this is just a conspiracy theory made up to sow discord and distrust of mail-in ballots. Which seems silly because there's a pandemic going on, you'd think mail-in voting would be a no brainer. I'm still pro usps. But yeah without getting political, as someone mentioned earlier, not a fan of the new postmaster general.

It sounds like the stuff conspiracies are made of, I agree. I've also been doing any shopping I can online, and I can see where a ton of others would do that, too. You'd imagine that it's due to the crazy state the world is in, but I guess you can't put stuff past people, anymore.

thanks for sharing HH....haven't seen this until now. How tragic that so many in this country thinks that the USPS is a business instead of a public utility. In conversations with others, they are unaware about the requirement to pay pensions so far in advance. Upon learning this is ONLY required by the USPS and has been the single largest cause of its ~5 years of fiscal issues up until quite recently, their confusion begins to match my own. I was reading yesterday that they have officially begun implementing the 'stop at 5 no matter whats in the truck' rule. There are already routes just not being serviced entirely, and thousands of packages beginning to pile up. This is truly truly troubling for obviously 400 reasons.

My girlfriend was telling me how she had heard/read/knows about a procedure where citizens who are not affiliated with the USPS can bid on routes and, other rules that i dont know about notwithstanding, the lowest bidder thusly now has that route to deliver. She had said there are already rural parts of the country having to do this just to get mail out to them.
Knowing firsthand how many people survive by using the USPS for their small businesses ..I cannot explain how anxious and terrified this dismantling of the USPS gets me. I hope someone out there has some better news or a more positive perspective. I do not understand why this behavior is not met with as much civil unrest as other various civil and societal problems. This, I think, effects every color and every class of people in this country with the exception of the top 15% wealth-hoarders.

I've not had any delays in mail from VA or otherwise. I have a package coming from VA tomorrow right on time. I ordered from a medical supply company last week and it arrived in 2 days. I ordered CBD from Portland today so I guess I'll see if that gets delayed. If the asinine rioters haven't burned down Lazarus Naturals before my CBD ships it should be fine.

I know the delays aren't specific to Texas, but having looked at a few different articles and comments on the Coppell TX sorting and distribution center, I do wonder if it's particularly bad over there. Coppell was the last place mine was updated at.

Rhino said he hasnt had any issues with late orders coming from Oregon most of the serious delays I have seen are coming out of texas and now apparently coming into atlanta is a crap show now too. I think it is the big hubs having the biggest isues with the funding cuts being made and not having enough people and enough hours to handle all the mail. Pretty much anything I order has to come through Atlanta in order to get to Athens.
