Can someone please tell me why all these vendors are advertising these vintsge 2017 batches right now? What is the big fuss about these batches and if they are so good why are they left over

Vintage 2017 leaf is generally good to find - depending on your knowledge of vendors "back then" of course

I have vintage 2017 strains that I’m selling, and they weren’t “left over”, lol. Back in winter of 2017 (when I was not vending yet) I started buying directly from Indonesia for the first time, and the idea was to buy 3kg samplers and then stock up on strains I liked. I did this thinking it would be good to have at least 20kg in my vault. They sat in storage for a few years still sealed in kilos, never opened. Fast forward to this past spring. We started having really bad shipping problems and there were a few months where I couldn’t import any stock. I decided to part with some of my aforementioned 2017 strains so that I could continue paying my bills. I hope that helps answer your question.

2017 was just when I happened to have stocked up. I agree with you though, I actually think 2016, 2019, and 2020 were better years. I think this past year, specifically May until now, has consistently produced the best leaf I’ve had thus far!

Sure, my pleasure! I wouldn’t say it’s any better than the leaf we have now. It’s just definitely different in characteristics though, so there’s that. I think Indonesia is getting better at their drying processes tbh which is excellent news for us customers!

GK2, PMDD10, PGH5, SGD. It’s difficult to choose but those are my top picks. It’s been a lovely summer for leaf! I’d also recommend my friends on Mewe, they have great stuff in stock too! Goldfumed, Soul, LOE, MM, FF, Rhino, Green Harvest... it’s all great right now!

7 OHM has alot of 2017. If he's still going. Most of what I got was a darker green and coarser grind. EGM, Gold Bali, PMD, Green Jong were all great.

I will definitely be trying your leaf very soon as well. I have been using kratom for 6 years now(started at 22) so now I am trying to find some leaf that will work well for me. I got some TFH recently and the first few days it gave me some great burns but I guess ive gotten used to tge new alkaloids and it still works, but no where near as good as it did at first. I have been a long time KOG customer and I still keep them in my rotation, but I just need some different profiles to mix things up. Hopefully that will work for me.

I haven't gotten a dud in awhile and I've bought way too much from all of them recently so thats saying a lot!
Her PMDD and her PGHorns are consistently awesome.
LOE has some killer stuff as well. G. Platinum is awesome!
I'm not gonna mention others since they're sold out already. But seriously, give any of them a shot, u won't b sorry.

I got 250g green bone and 250g of red bone. Cant wait to try denette shipped it the very next day but the labor day weekend pushed it back until Tuesday. Its all good i am still loaded down with TFH and also have a kilo of TFH set to be delivered on Tuesday as well so i will have about 3 keys of tfh total so im not hurting for good leaf right now but I only have that TFH so I cant rotate vendors right now

Look for some samplers in trading. I've found some gems in there. You get a feel for numerous vendors /batches.

I have been eyeing things on the trading post but nothing I felt confident in pulling the trigger on.

The bones are becoming the stuff of legend. That was part of my order as well. I think the red bone is a good deal better than the green imo but they're both great. Just wait til you see how fresh they are.

Thats what ive heard about them being good. I really hope they burn good for me, I honestly have felt like I haven't had the best luck with batches this year other than some of the TFH batches ive gotten this year and a couple from KOG like the supergreen nano and green bota, and PMD from BB other than that it has been a lackluster year for me so I'm really hoping I can hit on some of these September-October purchases
