Is TFH open for business or are they having a new member opportunity anytime soon?

They had an open order event in May so my guess is that there won't be another for a few months at least.

You just missed this years annual event unfortunately. They already did the raffle for new members spot so they won’t be doing that again for quite a while. They didn’t have the raffle last year so a lot of pple were amped for this years event. They may do another brief open event since this one got closed down early due to unforeseen circumstances but I don’t think there will be another raffle. Perhaps you can get some TFH on the trading post tho. I may be posting something on the TP soon from this May’s open event as I accidentally got double of a popular strain. Hope that helps. Keep checking back on the thread called TFH Open Event for updates🪴

Dang I haven't had anything but garbage kratom since 2017. Lots of nice, generous vendors out there but it's just not hitting like it did in the "golden era" when they actually picked leaves from old trees instead of young plants. Currently quitting codeine and in need of something that's not placebo. Big bummer. Thanks for all the knowledge you've shared here, Gumbyke, and for all the other kind things you do. Hopefully I catch the next opening. I'm not on here much but am a long time kratom consumer since before the 2016 DEA/FDA debacle so I know what the good stuff should be like and am massively disappointed with what we've got now. It's almost not even like the same substance IMO.

If anyone knows of any other worthwhile options, feel free to tag or PM me. I only use red strains. Sorry to derail but am hurting pretty bad despite having kilos laying around.

Well... I placed an order last Thursday & it came Monday, but I'm a member & that may make a difference.

OP, I know exactly how you feel. Back in the good ol' days just about everything hit hard, but a lot of that is lack of tolerance. I find it very difficult to obtain a really good red, one that isn't full of energy. TFH's reds, to me anyway, are almost all very stimulating. On the other hand, a lot of his whites knock me out, which is fine for me & I use them in place of reds at night.

Can anyone explain the process of how these raffles work, or how you become a TFH member? I'd love to order from him at some point but it sounds like you have to be a chosen member to do so. So sorry to derail but these threads are hella long lol.

I feel you about tolerance. I haven't used kratom in ages so was expecting to feel something but these batches just aren't doing anything... even in codeine withdrawal. And they fell flat at the time I bought them too. Meanwhile every pic I see on Twitter from Indo growers is of tiny young plants that haven't matured enough to have desired alkaloids so I fear that's the issue. It's like they're clueless about how kratom works. TFH seems to know his stuff so I was hoping to get access one day. Willing to wait if need be of course. ;)

I've only been around Double M during one of TFH's open order events so hopefully someone else can chime in if my assessment is incorrect! But from what I can tell, if you order during one of their open events, you might get a raffle ticket and then numbers get drawn randomly and that's how you can end up with a membership. Or they could also just do an open order event for the community here and not necessarily take any new "permanent" members outside that so it's not a guarantee either way. They only keep as many members as they feel like they can comfortably serve without compromising on customer service and quality.

Luckily, if you poke around here you can find other vendors with good stuff and give them a shot, too! But I understand that's probably disappointing if you're aiming for TFH specifically.

Besides winning a drawing, community participation in this forum plays a lot into whom are chosen to get a membership.. lots of people pop up wanting to order from TFH but a lot dont stick around and check out the scenery here! Come on in! Take yer shoes off and sit a spell ;)

Concise, informative, and friendly!

Hey Foxy, Sanbutsushin is right all around. While you wait for the next TFH event, try and look into the vendors on Ballz's list of top 40 vendors; it's stickied to the top of the general kratom forum. But off the top of my head, and a lot of these as good as TFH are, at least some batches (remember even TFH doesn't have every single flavor a hit outta the ballpark): Fused Flora, LoneStar, RVA, Koality, Heavenleaf, Rhino Remedies, Lucky, Smiley, Treasure House, Leaves of Eden, Denette615, Botanical Bunny, Sacred Son, and more...

Man I hear ya...I tried to tell people how it used to be but a lot of people just don’t believe me. It seems impossible to find super super high quality Kratom like you used to. I used to be able to even get crap at the smoke shop that was good ahaha. Does anyone know where all the suppliers for the old kratom went like wtf happened

9sam... demand-demand-demand overloaded the supply of old leaf & now we have younger leaf. The locals don't understand strong vs weak kratom nor the importance of old leaf. Leaf is leaf to them. I've seen video of them stripping trees bare, cutting trees down, leaving parts of the forest barren. I don't know how prevalent that is, but it's certainly not a sustainable long range harvesting technique.

But you’d think even one supplier would exist that was harvesting old super high quality leaf lol, wouldnt there be more money in being the best when everyone else is dishing out subpar product

But you’d think even

I think Lonestar Mitra is definitely worth you giving a chance. I got some of their Old Growth pmd2 just recently. It's supposed to be from a 30 yo tree and gotta say it's freaking amazing. If you want me to send you a sample size to see if it helps you, just let me know.

Our open order event was in May, and we had to end it a week early due to our inability to fill the orders. We did promise to come back for a mini-event to finish the May event, we will post on our vendor thread when that will be (we will likely be only open for a few days in the near future to make up for the early closure). If we have the product and bandwidth to do another full event this year, it will likely be sometime in October/November.

We do have a lot of things in testing now if anyone wants to volunteer as a tester. We just ask that you agree to complete a private online survey for each sample we send and cover the cost of shipping ($8). All testers who successfully complete surveys for each sample are allowed to make a one-time purchase of any of the batches they tested or items from our menu at a time of their choosing. If that interests you, please email us at [email protected] and put "tester" and your Double M screen name in the subject line.

I've been telling some folks privately that 2021 will be a great year for our kratom - a lot of the things we have been working on are now bearing fruit. The samples we are testing now are a sneak peek of what TFH will be bringing to the table going forwards... some really fantastic product if I may say so! 8-)

Thanks for the inquiry!

Its just two different vendors/blends or whatever system he uses to denote each part. Like for instance, I have a great reaction to IRCA strains usually, so I watch out for those. You've got all of it but the C, looks like, in the first one, so with my personal chemistry, I'd roll with that one if I was ordering. The only IRCA strain I didn't particularly enjoy was the VSOP one. The rest? Pretty damn good ones. Seems like IRCA and 30 year go together a lot. That person (or those people) is (are) the fire leaf one(s). To ME, that is.

Perhaps but you probably won't get specifics as nobody knows them except gumby and I don't think he intends to clarify his sources.
