CALLING ALL VENDORS: Don't get scammed!

Hello everyone! I got permission by the admin to post this since it's not regarding a customer dispute, but is in regards to fraud prevention:

I believe there is room in this world for all quality kratom vendors and we should all work together rather than be rivals/enemies. I'd like to share some information with all vendors here on DoubleM and beyond. There is another person going around and scamming kratom vendors who use eCheck. I reached out to a few fellow vendors and one of them was already hit by this guy as well. I will not dox the individual on here; he's using fake names anyways. But I'd be glad to give out some information that could help you from getting scammed in the near future.

This person purchased several orders from us in a short time, all while communicating via text to keep up the illusion of having an open line of communication. He used a text app (TextNow) so his real number was hidden. Once we contacted him about the bounced checks, he proudly said he outsmarted another "stupid small business" and he's not scared of repercussions because he had "already been charged with a cybercrime"! You can't make this stuff up! We like keeping things positive on here but I really don't want this person getting away with doing this anymore.

I got hit a month ago for $300 with chargebacks. People are dirtbags.
