Out Of Stock and FDA Ban Whats Going On?

First I read a post from AKA saying FDA is stopping shipment, then Herbal-RVA and MysticIsland are both out of stock. Is this the end of kratom?

Generally speaking, the "crappy kratom" happened last Winter. January - through around June. AFTER the last PANIC in November 2017, remember Wot? ALL vendors in the USA were virtually wiped out exactly 1 YEAR ago.

A MAJOR panic happened, same thing almost to the DAY!! Big scare over the DEA, and everyone on Reddit (back then) and Facebook, went crazy and within Three Days - even the BIG vendors had nothing left. I was there. I took notes in fact....

December 2017. ALL vendors placed orders to Indo suppliers. Supply & Demand. Indo's got huge orders, adding up to TONS of kratom.. which they didn't have. November December is the start of Rainy Season, over there! But... Money Talks. right? So the orders WERE filled with crappy kratom... Starting in January 2018 - All vendors in the USA, yes even DG - were selling crap!

Well 6 months later. Quality returned!! The good Summer Season happened in July / August / September - as we've been posting for the past 2 months. Quality was good "Compared to Winter" anyway. Now.... "some people" claim that quality is always bad, and hasn't been good, since 2016? Baloney! Find a new vendor. There HAS been some good leaf around, this Summer...

BUT -- Summer is GONE. and the good Summer leaf for 2018 - thanks to the PANIC - is also now mostly GONE.

It's seriously upsetting. Especially to those of us who can't afford to go nuts and overindulge in kratom buying during the holidays. I'm on a budget. I had to plan ahead. I figured out what I absolutely need, communicated with one of the main vendors I use, and was told that as soon as he had the strain in stock he would put in an order for me. Yet, even knowing that I had done everything that I could possibly do to cover my bases, I couldn't help but worry because there are all these people panic buying 20-30 kilos at a time right now. Which, of course, sets off my anxiety And steadily feeds it, so, you know, that's fun. And, sure enough, within an hour of him uploading his new stock- while I was literally bouncing back and forth between checking the page and messaging him to see if he had already set up my order or if I should place the order through the store- the strain that I had saved for had completely sold out.

In conclusion: it would be really awesome if we could remember that we are ALL being affected by the things that are happening, and we are ALL relying on this plant, in some way or another, to make our lives a little more manageable. This is a community. So if you're going bat $hit crazy trying to make sure that you're covered for the next 20 years, you're very likely making it extremely hard for somebody else (who can't afford to spend $1,000 at a time) to make sure that they're covered for the next month.

In short: let's calm down and not be self-absorbed a$$holes.

Same here. Money's tight. I've been slowly buying ahead of what I actually use, and saved my money through spring and summer to be able to make some good harvest time buys, but I can't usually put hundreds of dollars on an order either. Two kilos is a -huge- order for me. And I don't think we're alone in this.

Over @ r/kratom a week or 2 ago some guy was in such a panic he was going to buy 100 kilos to add to his stash of 107 kilos. Yikes! That's like $8000 or so. He must be sharing with his neighborhood.

There's 300+ vendors though right? There's got to be some good kratom still left out there. Still...a little concerning.

Maybe we can keep a list of vendors that are currently well stocked? It sorta sucks having to hit refresh on all these different sites.

Just seeing this post, so mystic island is OUt? I got a package from them today actually. Damn! Appreciate everyone’s thoughts here, calming the masses. It’s like it’s not even a debate about this leaf becoming banned as much as it is a great big selling point aye! People are legit losing their shit right now. I’ve personally seen a couple vendors advertising/soliciting things like “buy now while you still can” this 100000% causes panic! So grateful for doublemherbals
