Hey gang, I'm back, I've just been near fatally depressed and doing the dad thing. I'm sorry I was gone so long, and I've been being responsible, I have been really hating things I see here lately. Keeping a fifteen year old girl out of the dumps in the midst of all of this has proven to take up lots of my time (which is TOTALLY cool, just...sometimes I miss my slacker days, y'know?) I've been kind of trying to eschew the internet except for music on YouTube. ALSO, I appear.to be stupid. Who didn't know? Haha!

Whatever is going on, I hope it passes for you soon. Just don't ever give up. You have those girls that love their daddy no matter what. I'm sure they don't show it like they should. My oldest is 11 going on 16, used to be a huge Daddy's girl. Now I'm just an afterthought. LOL. I too have 3 daughters, and the drama is mighty thick around here.

I think I can totally relate with what you may be going through with your daughter. Mine is 12 and she needs so much of me as she is going through her own depression. It is the saddest thing. It is also exhausting which I feel terrible saying. It does take up much of me. I love her more than anything and will always give her my all. Being in that sad mindset of not wanting to do anything, go anywhere is something I have struggled with for a while. Also pulling myself out of it over here. If ya ever need to talk, or just vent, I am a great listener and could be a new friend. It's nice to meet ya, take care.

I keep a photo on my desk, of my Daughter as a teenager . I cherish those memories of 20 years ago. We had such fun, went out and did things, festivals, shopping, movies, ahh... the 90's. Before 911 and before The Internet.. And before she grew up, moved out, got hitched & flew across the USA with her dude before the divorce and her "career" and... ughh. Hug those Kids!!

Are you into cannabis or cbd hemp flower? I've been making edibles w/ the cbd hemp flower coconut oil extract and it's helping everything - normal edibles are too psychoactive/THC rich for me.

Thank all of you guys so much. Hippie, String, ballz, and all of the folks who introduced themselves here. I really love this little spot. I am into CBD but lately have been getting more into cannabis extracts. They don't make me feel stupid like smoking the plant does.

So glad to see you back depression is the worst and I have been there,I m so Thankful my 2 girls are grown now but that brings a whole new set of issues lol I miss the old days I have 5 kids all grown its kind of awesome.I also wanted to ask if you've looked into microdosing mushrooms I started close to a year ago and they have really helped me after I found myself in a dark place I looked into growing using Uncle Bens tek from reddit its allowing me to grow my own medicine.I ts not a quick fix but rather a way to help yourself it took me a good month to really begin to see how it's helping.I m really sorry your going through dark times but super happy your back.

Mivanqua... hey there! Depression, huh. Don't think you're alone. The events going on all over the world are taking a heavy toll on most everyone. One thing I discovered when I asked everyone I knew how they were doing was everybody's feeling down. Even my wife, who is the most happy & "UP" person I've ever known, said the world is getting to her, too. We both took a month off the internet & news, got out of the house & did fun things WITH friends - wow, what a difference that made!

So you've brought something else up that I've noticed. What happened to all the old guard? Have we all gone into hiding, or given up on kratom, or I don't know what? Whenever I log in here I'm the only one. Other than the mods here, where'd everyone go? Phatcracker was the blendmaster & always sharing his latest blend to amaze us. Where'd he go? I see a lot of them over on MEWE chatting away. Maybe that's a more popular format, but it seems like a difficult way to exchange certain kinds of information or at least any kind of in-depth info.
