Thank you

I just want to thank all the vendors out there that help us; I know it’s a lot of work to deal with your suppliers, especially the Indos. So thank you so much everyone!
I have also met some of the coolest people here and reddit, thanks!

And a reminder not to blame them for slower shipping this time of year, sometimes it happens, and it's about to happen a LOT more as x-mas starts early because we already have some shipping/supply issues (on everything) so stay chill and/or patient. :)

Yeah, I totally agree. Thanks to the vendors! I've seen some very entitled customers posting complaints about things not under the vendor's control, like shipping delays, etc. I mean, if the product is great and the vendors are responsive (within reason), we should incredibly thankful for the work they do sourcing this leaf. This is a volatile business and the customer is not always right :)

When I clicked on the title of this post ("Thank you"), I was expecting to see a note from a vendor to the community... not the other way around. ;) I know in past posts I've written that Ive shared a few examples of the crazy things vendors deal and joked that it might be appropriate to "thank" your vendor. However, the reality is that thanks are not at all needed.

In fact, we vendors thank all of YOU for the opportunity to serve folks in this capacity! I can't begin to tell you how blessed my family feels that we get to wake up every day and know that what we are doing is something that matters to the people we serve. I have to say that by far the most rewarding thing about being a vendor is the relationships we get to make with our amazing customers and seeing how all of our investments of time and energy make a difference to each of their specific situations. We get emotional emails, hand-written letters, gifts, amazing artwork, etc from customers who just want to share their thanks for what we do. I have a shelf right next to my bed that is full of art/trinkets/sculptures that customers have sent us as tokens of appreciation - it's literally the last thing I see before getting in bed and the first thing I'll see when looking for my phone when I wake up. I don't recall ever feeling like what I do matters so much in any of my previous careers... I'm so grateful that my wife and I get to do this every day. With that said - please dont shed a tear for us when the delivery of order goes awry and you need some answers :D

I get customers all the time who "apologize for being so annoying" for inquiring about very simple things like: asking questions, requesting that I edit an order, ask about the tracking status of a late package, or even for placing another order when they just made another order a few days ago (I really do sometimes get "I am so sorry for having to place another order so soon"). It makes me wonder who in the world these awesome folks are used to dealing with, lol. Have we been so abused as consumers that we now feel that we are annoying when we are asking a business for a little help? I did a lot of soul searching early on in our business because I thought it must have been some vibe I was giving off, lol... I've come to learn its kind of normal with the kratom industry. Just to be clear - to anyone who is worried about "annoying us" - PLEASE dont. The day I am ever "annoyed" by a customer is the day I will quit doing what I do... I wouldn't deserve to do it.

For me personally, this community is a little oasis in a world of corporate greed. There once was a time where the majority of companies just let their products and services speak for themselves - I REALLY miss those days. :( Nowadays industries invest more in marketing and search engine optimization than they do just providing good service and a high-quality product the exceeds expectations. From what I have mostly seen, the vendors who are popular here dont do any marketing or SEO investments to get their products out there, instead, they rely on the community to speak for them by having a product that exceeds expectations.... what a concept, lol! Thankfully, because of places like this, kratom still has a corner of the internet that encourages that and I hope that never goes away. Vendors owe a great deal of gratitude to the folks who take the time to share their experiences on forums. Keep it up Double M Fam, not only do your peers value all of the intel on the latest batches, but vendors who are committed to providing a quality product rely on your contributions too! THANK YOU!
