Re: Kratom Reddit WILL kill someone
So many at one time or another (probably almost everyone) experience depression, especially in adolesence which seems to be a broad age range. Were trying to fit into a world thaty doesnt make sense in many ways. Systemic narcissism forces us to be a certain way to work/fit but when we go away from the status quo, we end up having areal tough go of it until we find something solid. I dont think that most people understand that we live a life of cognitive dissonance, trauma, and ptsd. Even those of us in more "developed" countries. Maybe even more cognitive dissonance here?
Thats all before fucking with our neurotransmitters or having them be out out whack by who knows what. Many grow up victims of serious narcissistic abuse and the don't know black from white or right from wrong because they had to survive. Its a pandemic in the wealthier countries, never talked about and hidden because they say "you don't calla narc a narc". Short for narcissist which is a fun word to spell repeatedly.
I grew up in the same world as many, completely oblivious to what was really going on. The terrible shit that is normalized and were really seeing the effects of decades of denial. What really helped me was pretty terrifying. I used a lot, like a lot of LSD in my teens for fun, fun, party time, with no knowledge or guidance, Then a shitload of mescaline and went through the first full trauma "death". it fucked me up for years. That was decades ago and when I could do it, 2 decades later Ayuhuesca which helped me to break out of the "matrix" further.
I was always a drug user/abuser. I am a quite a big fan of "drugs" but not as I was when IO was kid fitting in and being cool. I really don't use anything but Kratom but need a tune up with some mdma, dmt, etc.
Sorry this wasn't, isn't about me but how I broke out of the suicidal shit. I may have just aged out too. I see that many of us go through the shit and I had to jump off the ship to see that it was a ship of fools. It was terrifying. When almost everything you are taught is wrong or at least twisted, it can take all of your energy just to survive and then to thrive watching the madness. I found kratom on a search for something to help me with alcohol after lots of psych meds, drug drugs, and suicidal idealization. It has become something different.
I don't think kratom or even the withdrawals would be the thing to make someone want to kill themselves but our brain chemistries are so fucked up by other shit that its like mixing multiple organioc compounds that we cant know what the results will be. Kratom wds do suck but Ive seen reason to stop after multiple decades of feeling shit confusion and now having this love affair with it. I take it many times a day for more than half a decade and now want to never stop becasue it helps keep it out of the shit hole that passes for civil reality. Its reality all right and its the reason people find themselves not wanting to exist of not being able to hang. Only the dominators and the naive hopefulls (who haven't lost yet) embrace capitalist what we must. Also to not like capitalism doesn't mean you've lost. Looking at this rigged game from a place of "winning" to one degree or another, especially if its based on what your idea of winning is, not the collective idea.
Sorry I tend to tangent but, i think that we almost never hit the underlying nail on the head. We always hit the most in the most obvious and closest thing but, miss the things that are holding it everything together or keeping us in our shit positions in the shit ship. Then we can only hope to become captain shit or commander shit.
To tie it up. Kratom helps us to deal with/in the system. When we come off kratom, we are not only faced with a new absense, were faced with the same harsh shit that doesnt make sense. The world doesnt have to be this way because a few assholes taught us thats what it is. It could I guess make us more complacent but, i think depending on what were about, it'll magnify whether were all about us or trying to make the world less shit. Kratom may not mesh with everyone and agree that some probably shouldnt take it but, I think it can make us stronger and we can maybe drop a lot of the other stigmas about what were supposed to be. To a degree because it can fill in some of those receptors that make us feel ok or good.
I came on looking for reviews. i used to participate in r/kratom during its heyday- I think so I couldnt not chime in. Most people think that what I write makes no sense but, I think most of the world is asleep or knowingly being a part of this shit for their own benefit at the expense of others. Some know nothing better or are deperate for connection even to the point of mimicking narcissists and victimizing others for a perceived peg.

And then reddit came out a while later and said "sorry but no more vendor talk or using subreddits as a marketplace", so we then moved here, to our own private website a few years ago.
I haven't been to r/kratom in years. They censor/delete A LOT of content. If you even suggest kratom has any downsides or side effects, the post will never see the light of day and you will most likely end up with a ban. At least, that's how it used to be run. I think a newer team is in charge over there these days since a lot of the old mods jumped ship.
I really don't understand why they don't focus on advertising the science instead of covering up the facts. Lack of recruitment at arrestin-beta-2 proteins means it is significantly safer and less intense than opiates. No respiratory depression. No overdoses. That is MASSIVE. Honestly who cares if it is addictive when it is saving lives? This is the major selling point they need to be pushing with kratom. It shows people that it isn't dangerous.
Really not a fan of the way the AKA tries to suck donations from people either. They operate totally on fear tactics and they embellish and hide a lot to shine kratom in a good light. They're fighting propaganda with propaganda.
Yeah it's messed up and the worst part about it is that it's all Reddit's doing because a few years ago when vendor discussions were still allowed on r/kratom. Reddit apparently approached the r/kratom subreddit and said that if they didn't ban vendor discussion and other stuff that the r/kratom subreddit would be permanently banned. So even though the mods ban a lot of good posts it's not entirely their fault.
And it's crazy to me that like 1% of the people I've talked to on the kratom sub will never know or admit that there's no actual strains. They like to believe that every strain name you hear is an actual strain like with weed strains
Also, I don't know if you've ever heard of the subreddit r/Vendorsofkratom
But it's a really good subreddit over there. And it seems like there's no actual BS posts on there like on the regular kratom sub.
There's only one instant, and it's right now. And it's eternity..

I really miss what Reddit was like a decade ago. It was friendlier and people were happier with the site overall. The celebrity AMAs were a great time. Sean Bean's in particular was memorable for me. Smaller communities like this are my preference now.Tritonian214 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 9:19 pm I made the switch from reddit to here and I like the community here a lot more, seems people here are more sensible

I remember that time. There used to be fresh stuff on the front page like every hour. Now it changes daily. It went downhill after they got bought out I think.PistolsAtDawn wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 12:18 amI really miss what Reddit was like a decade ago. Smaller communities are the way to go. Everyone here really knows and cares about kratom. I go on some hemp based chats and its the same story with the subreddits.

I had no idea that there was an r/kratomm group. This literally inspired us to create a BlatePapes reddit account and start in the double-m kratom reddit.

Yeah, kratom reddits are usually over moderated, and they are trying to show only the good side of the kratom and hide the other side of it. Kratom is not for everyone. There are basically zero harm reduction information there.
I understand they try to avoid bad kratom headlines, and banning kratom. I don't blame them but it always bad to build a community upon fear.
That's why i am happy we have a website like Double M Herbals, where you can talk about kratom freely, without heavy censorship. And the community is great too!

I fully agree. There's a lot of learning that can be done without the way reddit sorts content, and misinformation gets corrected without blowing up into a conflict most times. I really appreciate that people here will talk to one another rather than just looking for every opportunity to say some snarky thing or start a fight, lol.Tritonian214 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 02, 2021 9:19 pm I made the switch from reddit to here and I like the community here a lot more, seems people here are more sensible

Re: Kratom Reddit WILL kill someone
One thing I've noticed on an unrelated note on reddit, seems like a few users put off big time shill energy. I understand vouching for a good vendor but it seems like some people on there will try to shoehorn the same vendor again and again even if someone is enquiring about a different vendor
