Appreciation for Denette's but does he test?
Just got my Denette's order in. It's phenomenal, likely some of the best quality kratom I've ever tried. I'm wondering though if anyone knows that he tests for things such as lead and other heavy metals or is it a non-issue with his vendors? Otherwise, phenomenal, the hype surrounding this vendor is legit.

I don't think he does. There is so many batches and the cost of testing everything would be expensive.
Did he give you a tracking number for your order?

I would say that if a vendor does not openly advertise it test it most likely doesn’t because testing looks good if they do it. So why would they not want to promote that they test because for some that’s a dealbreaker. I know luckys, and oties test. I’ve tried oties, and enjoyed them but lately I’ve been getting my best batches from a vendor that doesn’t test. I honestly prefer having tested kratom but if it’s a vendor with good reviews that I trust then testing is not a must. For extracts it is a must though just to know the mit content so you can dose accordingly.

Well, you know... if that is what you want, that should be what you shop for - at an online store perhaps.
Testing is a marketing piece. It's no guarantee and nothing about it is telling you that this is safe for you to use
for anything in particular. Sure, it might address a specific concern from a sub sample of a shipment.
Coming into this market blindly as a newbie, I think merchants that are testing batches is a good way to start but that's not where you are.
But wherever you source, what you are holding has not been tested because it it was, it would have been destroyed in the process. A small sample is sent for analysis. That's all.
The opportunities you may find on this subject are rare, special and fragile. I dare say quite temporary.
When people are conditioned to always demand a false sense of security that they've been sold on, expecting someone else to be the responsible party, something always ends up getting lost, besides affordability. It affects everyone's choices and opportunities.
This kind of thing is always chipping away at our quality of life and our freedoms - like a scarce accessible opportunity to save ones self while serving others
in a way that is more personal and mutually beneficial than what commercial business as usual can accommodate.
Consider that in Canada and probably in the US now as well, you cannot bake pies and sell them to your neighbor because your kitchen has not been approved by regulators and I'd guess zoning factors in too.
Find a merchant, not friends interacting in private groups.

I do test periodically for metals, ecoli and other contaminents as well as mitra and 7hydrox. As someone stated previously, its samples of leaf....definitely not every batch. That would sink a small batch vendor. Having said that, Ive been sourcing from extremely clean suppliers for years. I test any new suppliers as well as periodically after that (even for long term suppliers).
I have no reason to advertise whether I test or not. If someone wants to know they can just ask me

That’s the first thought that went through my head when I saw this post. Why would you not inquire with the vendor himself?

I gotta respect Denette.
I love when people give positive feedback of a product,
knowing his product is loved in the market should motivates me to always improve.
at the end, consumers satisfaction is what important.

Well, because it's kratom. Grey market, un-regulated, not a Dietary Supplement approved by FDA... Raw kratom ? Of course it's not tested!IjustFeltLikeRunnin’ wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 4:33 pm That’s the first thought that went through my head when I saw this post. So asking "Where's your Testing", maybe a trick question, but anybody who does that, could be 1- someone who doesn't understand the Legal situation, 2- someone who a vendor would rather not deal with ? (why we have Private Vendors ?) or... Only 2 years ago, someone from Facebook SR Group if anyone remembers that BS...

Yep that logic is sound, for sure!Jking wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 12:44 pm I would say that if a vendor does not openly advertise it test it most likely doesn’t because testing looks good if they do it. This is why I always mention testing prominently in my marketing materials.
When you offer many different strains and batches at once, in small quantities, it is hard to make it financially viable to test. Having a smaller product offering helps make it more worthwhile. Personally, I am what you call "risk averse" or "high on the uncertainty avoidance scale". In other words, I'm paranoid about my health. And I'm sure there are many others like me. That said, when I was still only a consumer, I was willing to buy a particular batch if that batch was well-rated. However, just because a vendor has good ratings for past batches doesn't necessarily mean that the new batch is 100% safe. It's a gamble every time until they either provide verifiable test results or there are a number of people who have had positive experiences with that specific batch.
