Taper down using Black seid oil
Hi guys,
How do you taper down/lower your tolerance with the help of blackseedoil?
i) How often do you take it?
ii)How much do you take per Dose?
iii)Do you take it together with your K Dose? If not how long before do you take it?
iv)Do you lower your Single Dose when you take Black seed oil or how is the tolerance lowering working
Thanks for your input

Re: Taper down using Black seid oil
This could be an interesting thread, as Black Seed Oil has long been used for more than just dealing with opioid receptors that could stand being refreshed.
I've used it off and on for a couple of years, but I think only once did I use it as part of a regimen in taking a (short) break from using Kratom. I generally take it so I can avoid needing a break, ha ha.
I'm sure I'd get some benefit from a break about now, but my usage has remained fairly stable, and I reckon it's at a level most here would call fine, or low.
For a pretty long time now, way before I started using Kratom, I've taken a lot of supplements, and some of them are a big part of what I use these days in conjunction with Kratom, and what I've used when I wanted to use less Kratom.
I see Black Seed Oil as having the potential to help with aches and pains, that feeling of having been "roughed up" (and not in a fun way), and as something of a tonic for overall well being. If all my Kratom got taken away, and all I had was Black Seed Oil, I think that I'd take a light teaspoon of it every two to four hours, though the first day or two that would tend more to just two hours between servings.
Stuff isn't cheap, and I take my time waiting for bargains on the liquid, which unsurprisingly is cheaper than the capsules. I see it as I'm paying for the active ingredient, and that's how I compare brands.
I don't mind the very strong taste, as I figure it's a sign of being potent, and potency goes to making me feel good. It's like that old Smucker's commercial that SNL, back when it was funny, did a skit on. "With a name like Smuckers, it has to be good."
With a taste like this, Black Seed Oil must work, lol.

Edit: Sorry, I missed answering a question I can answer. I take Black Seed Oil whenever I want, though always on an empty, or fairly empty, stomach. I guess it helps most with accentuating a burn if taken about a half hour before. But its effect is going to do the same amount of good for your tolerance, imo, whenever you take it. I haven't really made a study of my use of it, and I concede the possibility that a lot of what I feel is a placebo effect. But I think it does me so good, and I tend not to spend money on stuff that disappoints me.
And now I feel a desire to take some, followed by some Kratom!

Re: Taper down using Black seid oil
I switched to capsules cause I just could not handle the taste…especially the aftertaste - like gasoline
and I actually think they are better. But the question is better at what, yes? For me, with respect to Kratom, it is helping to keep my receptors upregulated and thus it supports my being able to maintain my typical dose. (For me 1.3 gr 2-3 x/day) I haven’t used it with the goal to reduce my dose. I use agmatine once a week once a month to help with receptors too.
I also recently saw a study on how cordyceps help with morphine tolerance. I use a good amount of
and am going to see how well they well work with pain.
I also use black seed oil daily cause I think it helps with inflammation and I run a lot (and am not a spring chicken) so it is very beneficial for that too.

i) I tried taking black seed oil five times a day during a time I was tapering down kratom- but I've come off cold turkey in the past (using 30-40 grams a day for a year, then stopped cold turkey, was up for two days in bed couldnt sleep and restless and wasnt fun at all but got through it by taking a ton of benedryl and Nyquil, just my experience)Detuned wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 11:07 am Hi guys,

ii) I forget how much I was taking per dose since I only wanted to drop my dose/taper down mad quick so I kinds gave up on it, maybe it just didnt resonate the same way for me?
Hope this helps in general for tolerance questiosn!

The easiest way is to just take some when you're not taking kratom and every time you take more kratom just take less than the amount you did before. Raw honey increases bioavailability greatly.

Re: Taper down using Black seid oil
Black Seed Oil - BSO - does work to "up regulate" the opioid receptors, so... Up the receptors (make more sensitive) = Lower Tolerance.
I Do use the raw honey thing. Here's how to take nasty BSO Liquid - First prepare a cup of hot spicy Tea w/ extra Honey... have that ready. Now = Fill up 1 Teaspoon with your BSO. I do this over the sink. Tip head back. Put the teaspoon on BACK of tongue... pour the stuff down your throat. Try to NOT spill any BSO around your mouth! Pour it "down the hatch" then... Grab that cup 'o warm Tea! Chase the BSO right down.
Works great, it's a "technique" just like Toss N Wash kratom (I never do that!!) but... yeah. BSO is nasty stuff. Drain 1 Tsp right down the hatch. Wash it down w/ Tea & honey!

I had some BSO once a long time ago because I read it was good for something else but didn't notice any effects at the time, it was way before I ever tried kratom. Curious about raw honey - how does one know it makes kratom more bio-available? I put it in my tea every morning and a good amount too. Thanks.

Re: Taper down using Black seid oil
I been a fan over 10 years for Raw honey, my only source for sugar when home. I did try no honey few weeks, something was off. I felt like with raw honey i get that extra boost of feel good. Plus you dont have to worry about sugar levels and carry candy or sweet around you. Seems with kratom, a lot dont talk about it but time flys fast when on kratom with no sugar in body you can get very shaky, especially if you had a fast batch. With one table spoon of raw honey into hot water, mix it well, then add your dose and mix it again, then you can add your juice, milk, or what ever to make it warm, mix it up and jug. . . With honey i never had that shaky feeling, its a natural source of sugar as well... well worth it if still not into the habit. Try get plenty local raw honey or visit someone in person who has bee to make sure its raw. Look craiglist or online places as well where they have pictures and locations to gain trust better. The amount of enzymes in raw honey is priceless. Its only WIN WIN for you if you add honey. I dont know one person who said they got ill from honey. lolLokey wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 6:41 pm I had some BSO once a long time ago because I read it was good for something else but didn't notice any effects at the time, it was way before I ever tried kratom. Who doesnt want a sharp mind??? with all the talks hair falling out using kratom, well honey is a source keep your hair from falling out. Very healthy sweetener. Main one keeps your heart healthy!!! Why would anyone not consume raw honey is beyond me. The bear honey from stores is not honey. There is plenty of articles how Chinese make it. Make sure its RAW. if have to call the numbers and find more details if product seems in question, do so.
I got sad news, i know people in person who have bee's and everyone says they almost lose all bee's. Some reason bee's are dieing out, that means raw honey demand will be high.... get some right now, be it flee arket or what ever means... its like silver and gold, that how it will be looked at. even if have little money, get your self a jar.
Side note": raw honey and chamomile is such good sleeping aid. if never tried it, will be go too.

I knew about chamomile but I would've thought the sugar in honey was stimulating, good to know. Thanks for all your input!Side note": raw honey and chamomile is such good sleeping aid. if never tried it, will be go too
