Random Acts of Kindness
I think we all love when someone does acts of kindness to us especially if dream come true of something you wished. It sure does feel good. Decided to start this subject to increase idea's of what we can do/help other people. You can share here what you seen in real life or something perhaps you done your self, its not bragging, it will give more idea's to others what we can do to help. Me personally i like to break the 100 dolor into dolor bills, and when i see homeless people i take 5-10 dolor bills and give out. I really don't care about people who do nothing and only talk shit about how its their fault they ended up on the streets. I usually ask them to try to get food, if they don't, its on them. One kind act, could change a persons life around. What if that person got some food and took it to someone who didn't eat for 2-3 days? we simply wont know.

Re: Random Acts of Kindness
Be Kind to others... will become more important, this Election and 2024 when political violence is expected. I'm not real religious but most of us went to some Church growing up, the churches always had food drives to help those in need... it's The teachings of Christ that are important. Not the fairy-tale stuff, a hippie in robes and sandals coming down from the sky...
Anyway today I went to like a Whole Foods market (is there a term for those? Stores who sell double price, gourmet organic stuff ?) and.. it's steady rain showers here. A guy is standing outside, playing a Tuba! (or a Bassoon ??) his case on sidewalk getting soaked. He's soaking wet. He's actually playing this Tuba, which does take some "wind" ability... young cat I donated a couple bucks. Studies show, it's low-income people like me who give a greater proportion to charity.. While those who should, are not... On Facebook it's all this anger over crime and homeless people. Assuming that all crime, is committed by homeless ? Not true.
Often you see a homeless soul, just hanging around, not begging or panhandling... Just a sad vacant look in their eyes. Some going through illness or drug addiction. I look for those people and volunteer a buck or 2. I always say "How about a cup of Coffee" or just ask them. How you doin' today ? Some are startled, like they don't expect anyone to reach out... Sometimes when you see 'em, near a store or a Starbucks or whatever.. with their backpack and dirty blanket - Just reach out a dollar. They'll accept that and mumble a Thank You, and you know even a small thing can give someone hope.

Very cool, Ballz
I'm a Christian, and yeah, what matters is the heart. At least, I know that's what He cares about most in us, and it's obvious that you have a good one!
Helping people, in whatever small or big way we can, is probably the most rewarding thing - in and of itself - that there is, in my experience.

I have a friend who was de-homed due to some drug abuse. Really bad off, he told me he once shot up with puddle water because he didn't want to get looks going into the McDonald's bathroom to shoot.BallzDeep9 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 5:30 pmAnyway today I went to like a Whole Foods market (is there a term for those? Government gave him a flat to share with one other person. They helped him with everything. If he had to see a doctor, he would get reimbursed for the bus fare. Dude didn't have to worry about surviving, and eventually cleaned himself up and met a lawyer who he fell in love with. He's a manager at a warehouse and is living a completely different life with a kid on the way.
He lives in the UK.
IDK if most Americans realize how bad the homeless situation is here. We need institutional kindness.

Re: Random Acts of Kindness
Kindness doesn’t just mean financial help. Kindness can simply mean your time.
I’m basically a shut in now because scoliosis prevents me from driving and even walking outside without assistance. So sometimes my husband is the only person who I see daily. I have other family and friends but they have busy busy lives and time is a priority.
Today I opened a private message from a friend here on Double M. She hadn’t seen me on the forum recently and reached out to check on me. She didn’t spend money. She spent something more valuable, her time. I was finally able to reply to her message, but it took me awhile as I had to clear the tears away first.
Thank you Laurie

Re: Random Acts of Kindness
Prayer to me is same thing as meditation, i sometime if i devote 5 min of my time to think all the good thing to happen to that person i feel bad for, believe it or not i feel like they do feel better , better mood and become more lively. I been testing this and it seems it works all the time, I dont know but one thing i know that in spirit our higher selfs is way smarter, just cause we stuck in this brain body we are limited in so many ways. Want to encourage everyone not to give up, do how you know best for others, even if you Christian and think Jesus doing everything, its all you know and know not better. Main thing is have a good intention and even all evil entities or spirits they cant stand it, main thing is to have good will from the heart to another being. That, no one can take that from you. Its kind of you think of a person you never thought about in 20 years and next thing thy call you. how does that happen? Everything start from thought and spirit higher self connections , then it manifest into physical world actions. The more your creative the better. Start evolving creativity side part. Like if i see someone sick, i sometimes picture darker green very healing bubble around them, and put thoughts of healing everything in the bubble on DNA level, imagine all evil entities for all day in no way possible to mess with you, then the other half day i imagine pink bubble, pink is relaxing, chill, feel good after the healing green. Believe it or not i think its working even if its in my fantasy, some connection and triggers i thought of has been registered in spirit and being manifested in physical. I done this and tested, i really do think and feel something changes in that person especially when i observe them all day. All ends up on your free will, after all we are all God, god's of that big one, we just not aware of our power and forgot bout our free will and think we need to ask permission for everything. If the only way you know is Jesus the only way, even religious collective egregor can heal as long your intentions are pure and clean, only down side to religious egregor takes some thing back from you for helping which i think is not cool. I just dont know why we can't be creative and come up our own ways to heal. If your a nurse and know ivermectin helps and know someone sick and you dont have any, imagine a bubble and ivermectin proper dose how it flows trough the person you care, you cant say it doesn't work cause you never tried it. this is just random example, iam sure anyone can be creative. It seems like many are out of touch with the creative side of them self. Also if you want to experiment , lets me know we can experiment how effective it is, i will meditate 5 min thinking only healing things toward you. Any volunteers?

Like this is the reason i always try give money to homeless. You just dont know whats going on in their life, you cant say they are all alcoholics and lazy, thats a bad stereo type. Imagine this guy had to scrape some money to buy a cake to celebrate B day and share it with his dogs. I know its sad that he doesnt know how his life will go after the cake, its always in the the moment. He could starve to death, or become sick, so many risks. Evil people care not about him and think he is a useless eater. They dont realize ying/yang. perhaps next life they will be in same situation. Its like a rubber band effect. Sure you might take money, drink wine and party away with hookers, while abusing others but thats only short term pleasures. that also goes away, they dont think the spiritual side of aspects until its to late. Me personally i kind of got very emotional watching homeless guy feeding his dogs, if you didn't you sure are soulless.
I honestly think we should all close our eyes and wish the homeless guy all the possibility's of random acts of kindness to happen to him, he well deserves it no matter in what life shit he is in right now... Even if wishing is one minute long...
Never say Amen, Amen translate into canceling everything out. Always say, "IT SHALL HAPPEN" at the end. Or something similar to it.
MYCATTIMMY, thank you for your share and reminding us to think of someone who might be forgotten. My grandpa is 96 and i feel like he is forgotten, good time to call and see how he doing. I think everyone loves when someone calls and gives good kind words, it auto raises a persons vibration especially if you can make them lough. I strongly believe this is what will change the world, i encourage everyone to share what Mycattimmy did, how someone brightened your day up.. , it can cause ripple effects not known to humanity. Imagine how many others will call , even if you are in bad stance with someone and just calling and saying sorry about something can brighten someone all day and perhaps both become good friends again. Removing one problem at a time. Being in Love and Truth breaks everything apart, there is nothing stronger.

What if they used their time to generate money, and then donated that money to help people from being homeless?
What if we all agreed to use our time this way? The world would be a better place, wouldn't it? We'd have less homeless people.
Your problem doesn't appear to have been a financial one. Imagine if you didn't have a friend who could talk to you. You could pay someone that you would feel comfortable talking to. Many people would be willing to donate their time and money to help you get that person.
Or whatever you need, really.
In this way, we can better distribute our resources so that everyone is able to get the help they need. This way, everyone has a friend. Everyone has a home. Everybody is looked after.

I think the kindness part is more important than the random, but if you only want to be kind on random occasions, that is your prerogative. I'm trying to help people forever
