Re: 6+ Years Daily Kratom Use - My Experience
Well, I'm glad to hear it did all that for you. Personally, it's more like anxiety meds with less groggy-ness for me, and occasional pain relief from an angry spine. I don't know if it's changed my life exactly, but I feel like it's been a good addition, a positive thing overall since it's very cheap and seems to be completely safe. It sounds like you're getting way more bang for your buck with it, but any success story is a winner eh.

-Thanks my man I appreciate that
Even it just being a good addition as you said in your words is still a positive and any positive is still a positive
I'm glad it's been helpful for your pain and anxiety without making you groggy
Some people are hyper-responders - like me - some people are hypo-responders - like my friend Henry who never feels kratom - and some people just don't want to try it--
--which is totally cool too.
For me though, it's been life changing.

Yeah, sorry if I sounded a bit jealous or something, but I kind of am ha-ha. Much like with those folks who are taking like 0.75grams and seeing rainbows and getting all their whole days work done in 45 minutes. But it's all good, if working it's working, and as long as it's safe and cheap/legal that's all that matters in the end eh.

Haha nah man I didn't think that at all -- kratom is a tool I've used but I've still had to do all the work myself, ya know?onespeedstop wrote: ↑Thu Dec 16, 2021 11:49 pm Yeah, sorry if I sounded a bit jealous or something, but I kind of am ha-ha. Having a happy mindset within 20 minutes and knowing you have a safe legal herbal thing to make that happen for you anytime you want is a game-changer

Re: 6+ Years Daily Kratom Use - My Experience
Great post, man! I too had a very positive experience with kratom!
6 years is a very long time! I'm glad it's not wearing out on you. I took a similar amount in dose and quantity for the last year and a half.
It changed my life too, but I've reached a point where I realize I no longer need it. It helped me quit drinking, but I don't want it to be a crutch.
Haven't done it in 3 weeks now. After about a 2 month break, I'll go back in moderation.
It's definitely preferable to alcohol and a great nootropic and social lubricant.

You're right, 6+ years is a long time.
I wouldn't of taken it daily for this long if I hadn't previously known I could stop it -- which I did-- short story:
I took kratom before the past 6+ years, for 2 years straight, and then I stopped completely cold turkey and threw out all my kratom one day:
2 days later, I was fine.
It was mostly a lot of anxiety and restlessness and no sleep in bed for 2 days.
Then I was fine.
After that, I decided to use it daily forever (which has led to 6+ years now) since I knew it was safe and could be stopped relatively appropriately
As far as your choice to not take it: congratulations my man, that's awesome and you should be proud of yourself
Always do what you want in life, that is what I always say and live by and it seems that is what you're doing so good job
In response to it "being a crutch":
I say, if you need a crutch, lean on that crutch till it fucking breaks.
I've done that with different things, since I've needed support in different areas, and it's always worked out well for me
Is that cheating? Yeah maybe. But who cares?
Wanted to throw that in there for anyone reading if they felt bad about "needing" or "using" kratom as a support or crutch -- as long as its what YOU want to do in life, then do it, regardless of what I or anyone else says
Talk soon guys

The hard part has been the feeling of emptiness I've had without it. It really did help me get to where I am now.
It's gonna be hard to pull myself through and gain confidence to continue living productively like I was with kr8tom.
I agree. If you need a crutch, lean on it. For sure. Life is short, but can be long and torturous for many folks.
People shouldn't have to spend their lives suffering. Sometimes a vice can be what saves us.
I know this sounds crazy, but the drinking I did in my late teens/ early 20s actually saved my life. I was very depressed.
But kr8tom saved me from the consequences of continuing to drink. And for that, I am grateful.
