Hopefully we have a solid dry season?

Seems like we have been lacking a bit. Hopefully we get some dry season leaf that is on par with years past. I agree with a lot of people that over harvesting and harvesting from younger trees is an issue.

Oh No! Pest must love the young leaves, from Plantation grown ? Now when many Plantation trees are 8+ years old & producing good kratom!

Some natural Big leaf, like Elephant lol... some with holes from bug chewing.. Most photo show perfect Leaf of course

Actually all leaves from wild to plantations grown. I'll make a thread that describe about this situation.

dry season is April to October right? it's now the end of may, is the stuff we're ordering now part of dry season, or would there be more of a time delay of when the peak dry season harvest would actually reach us "retail" consumers?

hm that's weird. I just googled "dry season indonesia" and that's what it said. perhaps they said October to December, because that would include the new leaves that actually grew during the dry season, and not just the older leaves that grew in the rainy season but were picked in the dry...if you get what I mean. the leaves picked at the end of the dry season would be the ones you'd want, not the ones at the very beginning.

because of not always being able to know if it's dry season leaf or not, I usually don't even worry it. I've gotten some great stuff in the supposed off season, and some bunk during the on.

it would be nice to have more information on how that process works and how long it takes typically. to go from leaves grown during the dry season that are picked at the right time, how long it takes them to get processed, packed up, and shipped, and when the stateside vendors actually have it for sale. seems like there could be a huge delay, with dry season leaf sitting around for a length of time in a warehouse before or after processing
