How to do a tolerance break with having daily chronic pain? There’s no way to go without it completely. Please advise. Thank y’all.

It's really hard with chronic pain. I taper down to 1 gram in the morning and one in the evening about an hour before bed. I'll stay here a couple of days then just do a gram at night for a couple of days. This is enough to do a reset for me.

It's a really good question; I'm sure it's been studied as the history of opioid analgesics for Chronic Pain patients - I'm not one of those. But as Dr K Smith of Johns Hopkins, reported to Congress recently... 50 Million adults in USA suffer with chronic pain.

Kratom and 7-Hydroxymitragynine to the RESCUE :o - 110,000 Opioid Overdose deaths in 2022, would still be alive today IF they'd taken 7-Hydroxy - NOT Fentanyl... So Chronic Pain is a national problem - AND its been studied. I don't have all the history right here, BUT I know, we have problems finding another medication stronger/ more effective than "opioids". 7-Hydroxy IS part of the solution.

To answer your question ?? :) Look into LDN, and ULDN, and Memantine ? There is a ULDN group on Facebook... it's a big subject - and we've had small discussions here in past but not many ppl here on Double MM, have been interested in that. Unfortunately.
Banned on Reddit: KratomVendors is now on SAIDIT!

Agmatine, you mean 8-)
It's a weird compound, I've had negative experiences with it unless it's a small amount 100-300mg. I even got more to revisit it with another vendor near the end of last year. Same results. Makes you feel numb to everything, wasn't a good feeling.

As with nearly everything, we can only speak from personal experience (just no worthwhile studies).

That said, let me STRONGLY advise against Agmatine - it completely wrecked my kratom tolerance for over a month. I would NOT advise it in any shape way or form.

The earlier poster had the best answer - depending on your dose, just cut WAY down (if you are already at 1 gram per dose then try 1/2 - otherwise go down to 1 gram and dose a max of three times a day). This will usually reset things without going totally without (although Mr. B does bring up an interesting point about 7oz. There is SO much negative info on it and I'm still not quite sold, but I will say that taking 1/4 of a tablet once a day seems to help me a lot.
