Where Did the Awesome PMD Go?

I started using kratom in 2016, tried a couple reds that just made me tired, so when I read about Premium Maeng Da, wanted to try it to see what the "best" kratom was like. Herbal RVA's PMD was incredible back then & it quickly became my favorite. Then in a new batch I got 2 years later, it wasn't the same. I still had some older stuff & it was still awesome, but not the newer. I did find some somewhere else but then that one pooped out. I've tried the PMD from a considerable number of vendors & none of them are memorable in the slightest. I still have about 100g of the original RVA version & it's still great. Yes, I know every batch is different, Ballz, but Jonathan was very good at keeping his consistently the best. Kratom quality is changing.

So my question is... do any of you know of a source of a kratom strain that would qualify for the label of the most awesome kratom? Yes, a name is meaningless. Except that when a strain bears the name PMD, it should be the best kratom that each vendor sells. A vendor selling crap named PMD tells you right away you can't trust them. Where's the quality? Sure I buy from TFH & Chris has great strains. But the quality of kratom available these days has no comparison to the best in 2016 & 2017. I want to buy something exceptional. If you know of a vendor with that level of kratom, I want to hear from you.

The crown jewel is in fact just that …. Blows any Kratom away from 2016-17 . Easily the best batch I’ve ever had in my 10 year stash . Hands down , I know things hit differently for people but that batch is unmatched for me .

I'm following as well. I miss all the "backpack" vendors through the 2010s who had consistently great strains. We really didn't know how good we had it. Last decent leaf I had was the premium wild strains from DG, but the price of it is out of my budget. Smileys has been consistently fresh, but not much to say as far as potency. It all seems to be pretty low mit in comparison to the pre 2024 leaf

I'd say Entheofarm but man is it expensive. There is a 20% discount code and this is truly top tier kratom but in no way can I justify the expense. I live on social security and am disabled, blah blah blah, but to answer you honestly, his stuff would be permanent in my kratom repertoire if I had the ability to afford it. I understanding a splurge every so often, but things have gotten so tight that I can't, but I have experience with a vast majority of his menu and can tell you that it is excellence that almost pains me.
