SOULTANIC February batches
Hi all, I got 4 125 g bags of the RJK, Dark Green Pinoh, Red Sunda, and Red Santarum. I've tried them all at different times and different amounts, but haven't responded to any of them. I'm also trying out some new SOSA, Fused Flora, and First Coast Tea Co. samples and at least a few from each work well, so I'm not refractory to kratom in general. Has anyone else tried the stuff released last week?

I didn’t buy from the latest drop. It’s February, winter rainy season leaf, and I’m only buying sure bets. MitraMan is still fire IMO.

Re: SOULTANIC February batches
I have the December 2019 batches of Mitraman Red Borneo, Gold Bali, Gold Borneo, Green JK, and Yellow MD, and only the Yellow MD does anything of note for me. I'm really digging several of the recent SOSA reds and a few of the Fused Flora reds. So anyway, one person's fire is another's used hot hand pack.RumRunner wrote:I didn’t buy from the latest drop. Sorry to hear that. You’ll have people standing in line to buy your MitraMan on the Trading Post. The Gold Borneo and green Jongkong are popular strains. I have had strains that I thought were duds, just to come back to them later and they hit.The_Kraken wrote:I have the December 2019 batches of Mitraman Red Borneo, Gold Bali, Gold Borneo, Green JK, and Yellow MD, and only the Yellow MD does anything of note for me. Re: SOULTANIC February batches
Bummer that your strains are not hitting..I know that feeling just not usually with Souls leaf
This drop has been one of the most well received in quite some time, so it is surprising to hear you were not getting results. While I have not tried any of the strains that you listed, I can attest that many of the greens were top notch.
I also do not believe any of this is rainy season leaf as previously mentioned, as Soul prepared dry season leaf to last throughout.
I say this all to say, if it doesn't work I'm sure it'll work better for others and many folks would be happy to trade for your stock. It's not worth just storing it away when you can have a solid trade on your hands for something that does work. Cheers.

Agreed! You will be able to find plenty of folks to buy/trade those exact strains you have. It may be a chemistry thing of course, but is your tolerance maybe a factor?RumRunner wrote:Sorry to hear that. You’ll have people standing in line to buy your MitraMan on the Trading Post. Re: SOULTANIC February batches
I had a similar experience end of November with those batches.
Being different can kinda suck - especially when you first find out
The product is different in some ways- hard to nail it.
I liked Super Elephant from the start although if fades a bit when blended. The others...
I responded after a few tries, working them into blends.
I also knocked the weight measure down by 20% or even a touch more, compared to other material. Too much and it becomes too dull (bc it's likely stronger)
The contrast by blending with what you're used to and a pinch of an opposite spec strain will help it show up if you're not perceiving it. Once you do, it may feel stronger the next few times.
Likely in part- what you're used to using and what you expect. They (the ones I selected) are not really my thing but they have potency and they work well in my blends usually.
I had been sick around that time also. That can definitely mute perception- for me anyway. I wouldn't try to bounce these ideas with anyone working there though.

Souls latest drop was definitely not rainy season leaf. It is some of the stronger stuff I have gotten from him. Green empangau is one of the best greens I have had in a while. Red sunda is very good as well. I am glad I took a chance on it..

You need to drop your dose with soul leaf. This drop was mainly from November.. which is indeed still dry season. Soul puts in a lot of work on quality control I have had more gems from him than any other vendor mentioned on this forum. I’m sure you could trade or sell those on the trading post if they really don’t work for you.

Many batches won’t feel right at first. Give them another shot. I hope they work for you this time.

Re: SOULTANIC February batches
I was able to purchase red sunda, green elephant, white sentarum, and white empangua. This is the first leaf I've bought from Soultanic since October due to losing my job. I don't know if its because of my chemistry or not but the white sent, and red sunda have been the best leaf I've had this year.

Re: SOULTANIC February batches
They all worked really well for me. It’s a good idea to dose a strain at least 3x before judging it. Of course, maybe it’s a girl thing but there are times during the month where literally nothing works for me, even stuff I know is absolute pure certified fire, so who knows.

Ahhh soul, My vendor of choice nowadays. Loved his MD pinoh and green kutai from the early feb batch, or maybe late jan. Looking forward to the next drop with the green hulu kapuas. last time that strain was around was pretty fire. Can't really go wrong with soul, Im constantly getting great strains with him., just have to be ready whenever the store opens, his strains go very fast.

Re: SOULTANIC February batches
I’m also always getting top notch strains with Soul. He’s easily one of my favorite vendors . The biggest plus I get from souls leaf is that it almost never causes wobbles. I think his leafs “wobble ceiling” is higher than any other vendor out there. The potency of leaf truly backs up the fact that his leaf is next level .
For me a go-to strain is his DGP. It always seems to be an uplifting , clear energizing strain . It’s also extremely consistent , and a given that it’ll hit well every time .
This last batch my top choices are red sunda , green elephant, white mountain .
I don’t do reviews often but souls leaf has been “choice” for me. I’ve been taking Kratom for 5 years about 10-25g/day and have tried out many vendors , and soul is always a go to in my daily rotations .

That green empangau is an awesome uplifting green but very calming at the same time. It’s an awesome batch of leaf.
Red sunda is a great as well. They only seem to get better the more I test them.
