Hi, I'm new to kratom. I have had 11 spinal surgeries and recently stopped taking my pain meds a few weeks ago. I am looking for a healthier alternative. I recently bought red bali extract (the bottle) and the capsules. I drank the bottle waited 45 mins and it hasnt helped, I then took a few capsules. Is it not working because it takes time or is it just my pain receptors having a tolerance?

If you were on a high dose of pain medication then it could be due to tolerance. However, you said that you stopped a few weeks ago? I would imagine tolerance would drop enough so that you at least would get a little relief. Would you mind saying where you got the extract and capsules? Curious as to the brand and so on. Also, did you take it on an empty stomach? An empty stomach seems to be best for optimal effects.

I highly recommend that you check out this link to the top online vendors.... I would never ever ever buy retail Kratom again if I were you!! It is very very very rare if even at all possible to find high quality product from retail vendors no less at any kinda of a reasonable price.

Oh, okay. I also bought some from Carolina kratom. Not sure if you know them? I dont know what I'm doing, i've read what I thought was a lot but so many people assure you it's good and im guessing its not. So, this is basically crap? I got it from a kratom place. Sheesh

I second acejestyr15's recommendation. Also, I would stay away from extracts. I too started out using them but quickly realized that plain leaf will pretty much get you the same effect, but at a fraction of the cost. They are nice as a novelty or if you have an inexhaustible bank account, but otherwise totally overkill. And next time definitely try it on an empty stomach.

As far as whether or not the products you bought are actually bad or ineffective, it's hard to say. If you know someone who personally vouches for them then there may be some legitimacy to the product. But next time you purchase, definitely go through one of the vendors on the list. They are more of a safe bet.

I have never personally tried Carolina Kratom. But they are on the top 40 list and have plenty of good reviews at least so I'd say give that a shot for now. And, while you try the Carolina Kratom look at the vendor list and read up on reviews here.... We are all happy to help the best we can, but you really just gotta do a bunch of reading and try and make an educated decision on what samples to get.

Hey yall, so so sorry tp bother you once more, but since these are kind of shite compared to the other, can I take more than what is recommended? I googled and the FDA warns against it (but, they hate kratom) and others say they take like 20 capsules. If I take more it wont kill me, will it? I know this is likely a dumb question, so if I receive a dumb answer I wont be upset hahah.. also, you have no idea how much I appreciate this.

Also I am getting a pe pump next month, so I only need this for now. Soon I will be able to work out and do normal things a person my age is suppose to do. If you dont know what that is, it's such a badass thing. It basically is a pump they put in your body that send meds straight to the spine. Rather taking meds orally and you have the crappy side effects like nausea itching and foggy feelings, it skips it completely bc it doesnt circulate through the blood. If you are interested should look it up. I'm super excited about it, so I am only really looking for something until then. And I happen to be one of those people who do not have detox nor withdraw symptoms. Regardless how long I have been on meds. I hope it's the same with kratom. I dont mind spending money if I know it will work. With this shit I spent today I spent like 60$ with the liquid and capsules 90ct. The carolina kratom was 36+ shipping for 50capsules I think. Anyways, that's my story.

You'll have to check but I'm assuming the Naturally Red Bali capsules contain 1/2g each. On an empty stomach, 4-6 capsules should be enough to produce moderate effects. They should become noticeable after 30-60 minutes. A couple extra wouldn't kill you but honestly if you don't get any effects from 4-6 capsules, I'd just cut your losses and toss em in the trash.

Now as for the Carolina Kratom capsules, are they 1g per capsule? If so, I would only take 2-3. And again, should take effect after 30-60 minutes. If no effects, take 1 or 2 more. Still no effects... toss em in trash. They're an approved vendor though so I doubt you'll have that problem.

But back to your question about taking too much kratom. Taking a bunch more than recommended will not kill you. It will however give you extreme nausea, eye wobbles, and regret. If a standard dose doesn't give the effects that kratom is supposed give, then is it even kratom? If it isn't, then what the hell is it? lol that's why I would say to toss it.

Also, I recommend you get some Metamucil for the constipation that you will undoubtedly experience. It's just a part of it. lol!
