I actually did search and didn’t come up with many specific results. That’s why I asked. Maybe my search criteria wasn’t specific enough. I did search for just 7ohm as well, but it led me to posts that only listed 7ohm as a vendor with others listed. Nothing specific in as far as rating 7ohm as a vendor or reviews of their specific strains. Can you suggest some search criteria to help me narrow it down? I’ll try a few different combinations again and see what I get.

He has great leaf. I haven't gotten anything from him that didn't agree with me. Green Bar Bar, EGM, Gold Bali, Yellow Vietnam have all been killer. .

I got some green horn from him, and it was excellent. Despite problems in the past, he deserves another chance and I would gladly buy from him. He's an extremely nice guy too, he sent out free Kratom to many, many people. And as far as I know most of his Kratom is vintage, which in Kratom terms means pre 2017.

I've ordered quite a few of his white strains from his 2017 stock and they are all excellent but White Vietnam (medan) and White Elephant (medan) are extraordinary. (Medan = fast, according to his website). They're highly energetic, euphoric, smooth and so potent that I have to cut my dose by 25% when I use them. If he has any of his 2017 stock left, it's definitely worth grabbing some. I've read some great reviews of his 2017 green batches as well. As far as his 2020 stock goes, I've not tried any yet but again, have read some glowing reviews.

He ships quickly (within 24 hours), includes generous samples and guarantees his product - you can return it for any reason. His prices are in line with many of the vendors on the recommended list - a split kilo is $90 with free shipping. I'd say his white strains are comparable in quality to those I've bought from TFH, KOG, MitraMan, Smiley and Sacred Son. I can't really speak to other "colors" because I don't order them very often.

There has been a lot of drama centered around 7ohm, including some past problems with unfulfilled paid-for orders that have left a lot of people understandably wary of ordering from him. My understanding is that he had a personal emergency and has tried to compensate all the people he left hanging in the past. Whatever happened in the past, everything seems to be running smoothly now. The only criticism I have at this point is that his website is difficult to use.

Thanks Quercus!!! A very helpful reply. I did see there was a rough patch for 7-ohm and that orders got delayed or eventually refunded. It seemed to me like it was one of those “Too Big, Too Fast” things and he couldn’t keep up. I did read some personal issues, possibly a health issue, may have been the problem. I think I’ll give him a try. I’ve tried all the other vendors you’ve named and they are all on my personal top vendors list. Especially TFH which I had just found last year. Thanks again for the thorough reply. Very helpful.

Confusing my orders with other people's orders, sending me the wrong stuff, sending me the wrong INVOICE, his emails make no sense, and his handwriting on the bags is unintelligible. His leaf was okay, didn't blow me away, which sucks cuz he lives here in Seattle so when he finally did ship it it came like the next day. Rumor has it that Denette is having supplier problems and shipments held up in Singapore customs. I’ve never had an issue with MitraMan. He’s near the top of my top 12 preferred vendors.

I actually received an em email saying that my information was posted on reddit. Then, an employee of the extract company messages me on reddit to inform me that my personal identifiable information has been posted to reddit, with my order name and address used months previously with moeb.

She then linked the post when I could not find it. The PID in question was a Google drive uploaded on r ask legal advice from what could have only been 7ohm ( Joel? ) Idk whose who anymore this was a long time ago.

Regardles, my info was never in ANY of the google drive spreadsheets that was sent out to me and brought to my attention. It was blatant slander on 7ohm and wanted to clarify that the dude has definitely been through some tiring times, imo, fme.

His EGM2 is legendary. I got a couple kilos when he first popped back up last December and while his current batches are amazing they just don’t quite hit like the first batch I got. The Elephant Green Borneo is another gem and the Elephant Green MD is amazingly consistent and another go to for me. The white elephant doesn’t look like any other white I’ve seen before and another banger. My favorite stain from him out of everything was the green Samarinda but the first batch I got was completely different than the others I ordered afterward. The first green Sam had a darkish hue to it and had this clumpy consistency I can’t quite explain when you mixed it up to T&W. The Green Vein Ketapang is the most recent gem I’ve got from him.

I'd really like to hear what you find out about the situation at 7ohm. He does have some terrific leaf and I've been thinking of placing an order. The lack of an updated website may not be significant but not hearing back after you paid for an order isn't cool at all. I hope you get some answers and some quick action on your order!

Welcome to MM. Use the Search bar here to research vendors. We had many discussion last year, re: vendor 7OHM .. weird emails, crazy excuses, tin-foil hat stories of hackers, paranoid delusions, etc. Because of the Legal situation, kratom is a flakey business - I hope you will find, support here from other 7OHM customers. I think Steve of 7ohm has got some serious personal issues happening. Yeah, he's got great leaf but whatever is going on with him is having a serious adverse effect on his ability to maintain a professionally run business. I hope he gets back on an even keel at some point but any urge I had to place another order with him is gone after reading what's going on now. He's displayed similar unreliability and volatility in the past (like Ballz sez: run a search) and it sounds like the same issues are cropping up again. Thanks Cori177 and Madvillain626 for posting this latest. You may have just saved me (and others) a bundle.

He has sent me AT LEAST two kilos for zero money including what i believe to be some ancient yellow vietnam. Hes a super cool guy but i think hes riddled with mental illness as many super awesome people are. Its sad, but life is not nice to most of us. I think he does his best and one thing we can agree on is the quality of his leaf. I have a ton of yellows sent for me to sample that i haven't even opened yet but need to try. The first time i heard from him, he sent me some super green malay, and then the next time he sent me an envelope FULL of various strains including PMD and White Elephant (which i hear is smokin') I just havent gotten around to trying a lot of it yet, yaknow? Life is fast and only getting faster. Mea culpa.
Ive been thinking of posting a couple of samplers on the trading post, ive got lots and lots of rarities and antiques laying around from various sources including but not limited to Steve. Personally, i really like the guy and think he just needs a couple of stable people to lean on during the tough times to reel him in a bit. Unfortunately, there are thousands of miles between us, but i would definitely try if i could. Sometimes people just need someone they can talk to.
As an aside, i.read that he has a DIY kit to make your own strains out of Red, Green, and bones, which he says all strains are made from, hence DIY. Sounds super fun, right?

This has been my impression, too. That Steve is dealing with some inner demons that make life very difficult for him. It's really sad because he can be so generous and, when things are going well, take very good care of his buyers. I don't mean to come down on him personally at all. For one thing, I've fucked up so much in my life, I'd be an utter hypocrite to throw stones. And I get the mental illness thing, too. It's just none of that matters when it comes to choosing a vendor to entrust with one's limited kratom funds. I hate that it's like that, though.

And yeah, his White Elephant from 2017 is pure fire!

Heard a guy on TV, talking about health care today.. said, Drug abuse doesn't cause mental illness, it's the other way around. Mental illness can lead to drug abuse, addiction, bad things. Suicide. People need both mental, and physical health care - the guy was Joe Biden.

Drugs themselves are not the problem! Lots of Americans have maybe a mild, or stronger, illness I was diagnosed with "major depression" years ago and that's now common in our society... For whatever reason, my 30 years of part time opiate chipping did not lead to chronic addiction or OCD behavior... others aren't so lucky. Kratom definitely helps with anxiety and depression!

I'm near Seattle have friends & relatives there. Both cities SEA and PDX, have been full of cheap, Mexican black Tar like forever... crank too. SO much that druggies moved here from all over USA, we've got huge homeless camps full of dirty junk and fent... Many remember the 90's Seattle grunge music scene, Layne Staley - died from mental illness. Sure he was addicted for years, but, imo... friends & family could have saved him. Everyone blamed it on "drugs" So sad, died from lack of health care.

That’s all, I had mentioned Id post an update. Of course I feel bad if the owner is having issues but that has nothing to do with money not being refunded or even replied to. Well from the past, he tries to repay or double kratom or something if something happened to him. Best thing is to wait when he comes out of the woods. We really dont know whats going on with him. But to keep everything legit and going, i am sure once stable he will get back to you unless his whole business went to shit or caught fire in some protest. Right now just to be on a safe side, i dont think any one should sent money until we hear something from him.

take the losses and think of it that you lost it to the lottery. That way you wont beat your self up over 100$. If he does come back, just save the copys of your pay and everything so you can remind him. Life is to short to beat your self up.

Charge back would set him back by a lot. Its an option but when he comes back he will sent extra kratom for his mistake. Unless you completely broke and need to pay bills, a charge back would make sense.

Someone mentioned briefly above, 7ohm sent a free large bag of kratom (you could pick the type too) to first responders and people who help out with the pandemic situation.

I think he totally means well but probably suffering in a mental health way.

Has anybody else had any instances of credit card fraud? About 3 weeks ago (a month ago?) there was a large instance of credit card fraud on my card- fortunately it was caught, but honestly, the timing with all of this seems absolutely suspect. Everybody here seems surprisingly chill, maybe I'm just out of the loop, but I don't trust anything this guy is saying.

I know this is an old post. I have never. Had. This happen with a vendor or posted negatively. I used to get good product from them, months ago. Recently they were having shipment issues, then claimed to be getting hacked, i was getting weird email resposes from 2 accounts which seemed to be 2 different people, one warning me of other? But, i had already paid for an order. Now im not hearing anything back and the last website update was over a week ago. There is a phone number on the site to text, i will try that later today. I loved the company and product so Im not bashing them. Just telling what I am dealing with currently.

I never warned anyone via email because I haven't had access to any of them. I finally was able to post a warning on my site, but I haven't been taking orders since July. July 20th, I posted that i was not taking orders. I haven't had any issue's shipping any orders before that and was shpping same day on most orders since Covid. i just shut it down because i honestly was getting too busy and the rest of the kratom i had left hadn't been tested yet. That's exactly when my problems began coincidentally. If you paid and never got your order that wasn't me. If you pm me and I can try to figure out what happened and will try to make up for it. But, i most definitely need to know who you sent money to and how. sorry, this happened to you. but, there should have been posts saying that I wasn't taking orders.

I just am now able to post here and just read this. I posted another warning a few days ago. I honestly dont know how they're doing any of this. Please know that I will do whatever is necessary to remedy the issue, but that was not me.

Could you also let me know what and when you ordered as well? I might lose access again, so try to hurry. I'd really have access to any of my accounts, so im sorry that i can't give you any contact info.
